Experiments in Lunacy has been one of the most active Savage Wilds PvE servers since it’s release in Feb 2021. We were forced to wipe with Modpocolypse 2.8 in Jan, but have come back stronger than ever!
We are a PvE server, with fantasy background, but are not a RP server, giving players full freedom to do whatever they wish!

Server Lore
Thousands of years ago, a pantheon of gods and immortal creatures made first contact with the humans of the Exiled Lands. At first both races of human and god where respectful, and amicable, until the immortals started taking humans against their will. The resulting aggressive and traumatic union of man and god resulted in the first wave of demigods being born into the world. In a truly predictable turn of events, the gods soon became fearful of their powerful and spiteful offspring, which caused them to slowly turn into twisted, distrusting, and cruel beings. With tensions eventually reaching volcanic, and the gods becoming more and more unhinged, they rounded up all of their demigod children, and abandoned them in the Savage Wilds. Many years passed, and still to this day, battles between parent and child rages on, known as the Experiments in Lunacy, with the Savage Wilds forever being home to discarded unwanted offspring. You are the children of the Mad Gods.
No racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, or general bullying will be tolerated. Lunacy is a safe place for everyone.
Players are not permitted to physically interact with another player without their clear consent. Lack of consent=no consent.
The use of cheats, hacks, exploits, or external scripting is prohibited, and will result in removal from the server, without warning.
Building Rules
There is no building limit, but common sense rules apply.
The admin team asks that where possible, ceilings are used instead of foundations, to help improve the health of the server. Builders that have clearly made zero attempt to limit foundations will be asked to replace them with ceilings/pillars or have their builds removed. 1 Foundation is equivalent to 4 Walls and 2 Ceilings.
The Lunacy team reserves the right to demolish offending builds, if the health of the server is affected. We will try to contact the owner of the build beforehand.
Inactive players, clans, and builds will be demolished after 30 days, unless a special request is made to an admin.
Players are required to ask permission from neighbors before building close to another build.
Experiments in Lunacy PvE Modded just launched its Valentines Day Event!
We have a new mini game, Cupid’s Bounty . Up to 3 players are dropped into a special arena with stun arrows, and Golden Seals of Derketo, where they have to knock their opponents unconscious, then steal Golden Seals of Derketo from their fallen prey. Each round is 7 minutes long, and everyone walks away with alteast 1 Seal. Golden Seals can be exchanged at the new Temple of Derketo for rare items only available during the event!
We also have a small Love themed give-away kit for everyone with petals, champagne, and a stuffed unicorn!

Hairy Situation 2.0!
Today we welcome back one of our classic dungeons from Lunacy 1.0, new and very much improved! The new dungeon system means that while there is a 1hr cooldown for an individual player, there is no cooldown on the actual dungeon, so once a player or group has finished it, another player or group can start it straight away!
Find the Culann Emissary near the Last Refuge entrance cave, has some work for you!
Recommend 2-3 players. It’s definitely harder than the previous HS.

Easter Mini Event!
Happy upcoming Easter everyone! To celebrate, as always, a fun and unique Easter giveaway has now been unlocked for everyone, available under /kit.
In addition to the giveaway kit, there is a new event mini world boss, that will spawn at Dawn every day, and vanish again at Dusk. You can warp to the Grove via /warp easter OR a portal at the HUB.
This mini boss drops some seriously awesome loot! Gather your friends though, I’d wont be easy without help!
