yea - latest update seems to break the hell out of it. I even ran a wireshark capture on my interface to see what was happening on behind it all and seems the funcom cdn is responding okay - but seems to be unable to handle the load maybe?

Also it seems that after some tinkering the game client would start ‘retrying’ to connect to funcom services every time I clicked on online play. After a few tries I was able to reconnect.

P.S. - just to note while tinkering I also tried bypassing some of the network load balancer’s by going straight to alternate cdn hosts … but that did not bring any love either.

@orsik - What ‘tinkering’ did you do? I have a friend who is finding it very difficult to reconnect after restarting servers and her systems, and running all the recent updates.

I fear you are right that maybe Funcom Live Services are having load issues. A bit worrying.

So any tips to get in would be most helpful here.

really just a lot of network driver resets and interface resets - along with some hard-coded routing to try to by-bass the load-balancers that seem to be in place. Try toggling (disable and reenable) the network interfaces on the machines (assuming you have access, will need admin or root on *nix). My server is running on my host machine (windows 10) so I also disabled and re-enabled the network interface driver as well.

The notification doesn’t appear when Battleye is not active, so It’s related with that anti-cheat software. Unfortunately, reinstalling BattleEye didn’t fix the issue.

ICesarI - I did not see that behavior on my end. Launching the game straight from steam without the battle eye enabled did not seem to change anything.

So far I have had more success with just re-launching the game a time or two for it to catch up with everything.

Hi there, problems although presented in diferent ways are happeming all over the world since patch june 16th, If I disable battleye I can play but then only unoficial servers when ive been playing oficial servers for more than 2000 hours. If I try to conecct to the game using battleye its imposible for me to loggin a server, system says I dont have internet.
Decay time in servers has not stopped so due to the time passed ive lost ALL BASES MATERIALS ETC…after 2000 hours …ty Funcom.
We have been complaining to Funcom and explaining our problems since june 16th, because patch caused problems since the very first minute after it was released, and there has been NO REPLY from Funcom to any of our topics.
I really dont think that they understand what customer service means.

I looked at the logs after the new patch and this is what I got:

{“Time”:1593646452,“File”:“PlayFabPlayerSession.cpp”,“Line”:1823,“Category”:“FlsLogin”,“Message”:{“LoginErrors”:[“Request Timeout or null response”],“LoginResult”:"[d79a3a7d40ef03e566b849da27d29766]"}
