Failing to connect to online services

Good afternoon,

As some of you have already mentioned the connection to the online services is not working correctly.

I can launch the initial launcher and start the game, the intro vids are playing, when I arrive at the main game screen the game freezes trying to connect to FunCom online services.

From here I am unable to do anything, if I tab out the screen goes black and I am unable to access any other features of my pc. The only option is to restart it.

I have tried to restart the pc, obviously see above, logging on and off to steam, reinstalling the game and restarting my router on the off chance it had something to do with that.

I am running conan on a PC from steam with the people of the dragon DLC installed. I am playing PvE official on server 1024.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can stop this from happening?

I struggled with this for the better part of a year. Everything would load but connecting to Funcom Live Services would cause the game to crash about 60% of the time.

IA few days ago, I methodically went through everything and, eventually, found that I had a BIOS update pending. Once the BIOS update was installed and, after a couple of reboots to get a consistently clean start, the issue was finally solved.

I hope this path works for you.
