Bug Description:

Bug Reproduction:
Run the game
Seriously, I tried almost everything at this point, I just want to play Conan Exiles. I played more than 1k hours between console and PC. I have uninstalled and installed this game more than 5 times, I have deleted every conan exiles file I have on my computer by hand and then validated the files and it doesnt work that way neither. I have invested a lot of money in this game and I dont even want it back. Please, i beg you Funcom, help me with this issue,
Since you said you uninstalled and reinstalled, is this without any mods at all and it still crashes? Have you checked to make sure your video driver is up to date? Does it give an error message like “d3d” or anything?
No, I´ve never downloaded a mod. The error says:
“The UE4-ConanSandbox Game has crashed and will close
Fatal Error
(File:C:\B\tech_exiles\code\Engine\Source|Runtime\RenderCore\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.cpp)(Line 959)
GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 60.00 secs”
Things I´ve done trying to solve this error (Without success)
Reinstall game (3 or 4 times)
Disable Antivirus
Delete every saved game file
Delete every file from Conan Exiles by hand and install again validating local files in steam
It didn´t work and I can´t even enter the main menu, it crashes before I get to the menu, so I cant lower the resolution or anything about the graphics, I read something about Installing the last version of the Unreal Engine solves the problem but I can´t find that thread.
had tried to fix this ASAP but this took me hours to figure out why this kept happening. This issue did not occur for me on Epic games version as it skips the Funcom Launcher. I tried with and without battle eye launcher, .bat, verified integrity, Graphics Driver update, running in Directx 11 , (Command). I reinstalled about 12 times. Previously i had messed around with the configuration file doing the NoCollision on building structures just to bug test, but i reversed still received that issue even after fresh install. I deleted all app data and any trace, reinstalled still got the same issue, checked the logs and after i downloaded Epic Games version then uninstalled, the ‘Fatal Error’, had stopped for me and game launched smoothely, then tried to connect to ‘Funcom Online Servers’, and was met with the line, “Steam Servers are unresponsive”. I cleared download cache, turned of Virtualisation in my Bios, checked everything. This is what fixed it for me
(Short Version/Answer)
okay after searching absolutely everywhere and reading every single forum i could find about ‘Fatal Error’ occurring on launch for Conan Exiles what i tried which then fixed on 28/01/2023 is this:
(What fixed it) =
Enable Windows Features, (Windows Defender etc)
If you are on Windows 10, Check for update, restart and make sure you update everything. (I was on 22H1, there was an update that moved me to 22H2) My computer said i was ‘already up to date’, when just viewing, but if you select the ‘check for update’, you might find that you are on a different version of Windows 10 that does not work with the game.
If you downloaded both Epic Games and Steam version, steam will scan both and will not allow you to connect to steam servers you will get, "Steam Online Servers are Unresponsive (Delete Epic Games version)
Verify Integrity, throughout the process.
*(Additionally).
If this does not work, try opening the funcom launcher, select the uninstall option for Battle Eye, then exit launcher, verify game integrity, and then select install battle eye, try launching again, you will be prompted to install battle eye, accept everything and see if that works.
Conclusion:
Launched the game and i was able to launch the game without getting, ‘Fatal Error’, or ‘Steam Online Servers are Unresponsive’ and actually play the game.
