Fatality is causing game to crash

The new Fatality ability is awesome. But it seems it doesn’t work for all human NPCs. When I’m in the silver mine fighting Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers, Fatality always causes the game to freeze and go into a not responding status. I have to force a restart on my computer.

I play on Single Player/Co-op, PvE.

Any mods? If so, you will have to disable them and try again.
Also, if you are playing solo, on your PC, does the crashing still happen?
