Feedback & Suggestions

In TSW Shambala would show up as part of dailies. What happened was that people who only did it for the rewards would just jump off of the cliff. This often had the effect of an unpleasant experience for the people who did want a real match.

Yeah I remember that. Wasn’t ideal. I definitely don’t think that Shambala should be made mandatory. Just that it should give better pay offs so that people are more likely to choose it as an option.

Add a PvP patron chest/key that scales by maximum IP like the other patron chests. Problem solved.

I don’t see how people falling off the cliff could make Shambala worse than the concept already was

Didn’t they drop Shambala down to five a side at some point? Here’s an actual real suggestion: let a raid use the private group option to start a match between both groups. I feel like that would make it easier to organise than just endlessly yelling “pls queue ” in general chat and it would mean you could start with less than ten people if you really wanted to.

Can’t remember when exactly they reduced the requirement. I think around the Rosenbrawl release. Honestly loved that change and still like it since it makes getting things going so much easier. Even if it still is an uphill battle.

1v5 isn’t very sporting and it happened enough that the complaint became to remove it from dailies.

Would be funny if they added a daily for PVP if you win! You could choose to go in and use it for a daily or not, so a win would be great. We got a 3 vs 4 yesterday, so we were lucky they dropped it at that point.

@Pilchenstein Agreed! That’s what I said in LFG yesterday. Let us go in private.

@Leogrim They reduced it to three a side I’m pretty sure. I remember that. It’s STILL hard to get in, even at 3 a side.

@rephaim you’re right

I believe you still need 10 to get it to pop, but once it does players can cancel and the ones that don’t aren’t punished by having to wait again.

Shambala newbee here. I was excited to try it for the first time during the Megaversary and wanted to participate for its entirety but it turned out to be an annoying experience. I play PVE solo so I suck ■■■ at PVP and have no real idea how to do it efficiently. So I died very quickly for obvious reasons. And again, and again. And that was that.

The entire experience of waiting for the group to form and for the match to start was longer than the fight itself, giving me no real chance to learn or test things. I see no incentive to do it again. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with the mechanics (there might be, I don’t know) but that’s just my perspective. Maybe allow for a type of training match with infinite respawns? Or limited to two-three times?

You can test builds with the equal footing buff active in the Seoul Fight Club.

And that’s another thing that’s not happening too often.

Also, preferably, I’d like learn something by doing it, not by doing something else that’s just similar. Personally - the way it works now - the learning curve is to steep for me to be willing to commit effort before it becomes fun.

It gives you the same stats as Shambala but you respawn, it’s how most people test new pvp builds. People used to run that while waiting for Shambala too, which could easily become a norm again.

That reminds me: did the rebalance do anything for the, well, balance, of PVP? Because it used to be busted in favor of AR (unsurprisingly), but what about now?

Tomeee be killing everybody with AR. Good luck.

Before the rebalance, I didn’t do much damage but was very hard to kill with blade/hammer. Now, I am hard to kill with blade/chaos, but after Tomeee left, I was able to get about 2 - 3 kills per fight with no power abilities. I think Anomaly was the main killer.

Maybe we should move this to a Shambala thread.

[Cabal] - Bank space proportionate to the number of people in the cabal / let us buy more or complete tasks and jump through hoops to do it / anything - please just let us increase it

I agree - Too many lair patron chests spawning.

An oldie but a goodie, can we please get rid of the ridiculous auto-kick for people who go offline in dungeons? We have a vote kick option, the automatic kick literally only punishes people for the game exploding in one of the thousand or so ways it can explode while in a dungeon :v:

I’m begging for more gear managing slots here. Just tell me what I need to do to get it done. I’ll do it.

As a healer, tank, DPS, and multiple builds for each, I really need them.
