On official server #3508 a clan has a base at the edge dagons claw however they have fence foundations covering the whole area. Spreading under the river all the way to the unbuildable area around the witch queen, starting to cover the pagoda of boundless lust(?) and beginning to consume the whole island. Seeing as I doubt the devs intended for this kind of abuse and they (the clan) wont talk to me is there anything I can do? They seem to just be covering the jungle for no clear reason in teir 1 fence foundation. They are claiming far more than they ever intend to use and I believe it is border on abuse.
So throughout today they have now covered the OTHER HALF of the witch queen temple. They are now surrounding my base with tier one fence foundations. If this keeps up I will not be able to enter my 2x3 animal pen I made seeing as they are now fencing it off. Soon to be my whole base. I have not interacted with these players and yet they are fencing off my whole base. As it seems targeted at me I wish to know what should be done. Sit and watch them encircle my whole clan sized base and wait months and months irl untill they leave or is there something in place for these kinds of things?
Well until you can get help with your problem I would place foundations or even a snake foundation going around your base to stop them from blocking you in at least that what I would do until you get a response from devs to officially help you
Im stationed above the black garden and their base is dagons claw. They have used fence foundations to go from this base around the witch queen’s unbuildable area to encircle my base after I set up foundations to block theirs. Then proceeded to encircle my clan sized base so close I cant put walls on most my foundations. They put foundations between me and the obelisk and raised them 4 high today. I have not had any interaction with them that would warrent this kind of action. I SAY AGAIN they have already encircled my base to where I feel I need to abandon it lest I be locked inside on PVE. I do not know if it is targeted as they have not responded to my messages. However they have covered a third to half of the witch queen island with ONLY teir 1 fence foundations grided to ensure no one can claim any space one the island.
Well build an outpost and move your things but don’t destroy your base let them think they are bothering you and stop messaging them cause then they know they are bothering you and are most likely enjoying it then follow there fence foundations till you can find one that’s not very noticeable and bring a boss over and have it destroy that section of the fence foundations make sure that’s it’s space apart we’re you know it’s not sharing the same decay timer then most of the fences will decay that’s if they don’t notice it then you can place down foundations so they can’t replace them you can continue to do that till you can surround there base with foundation if they haven’t reached the obelisk then you should protect it with foundations but that’s if you want to go through all that … hope you can get some Official help from one of the devs give it a little time I’m sure they will check your post
Just so you know a long while ago players were able to bring world bosses to players bases and do damage but funcom fixed that so it stopped but somehow you can do it again how do I know this cause a player brought a boss to my base (on PVE server) just under 2 months ago and destroyed my foundations I was pretty shocked about it I didn’t know they you could do that again … now if funcom fixed that problem recently I don’t know I haven’t had the need to take a world boss to a players base
Now that I have had time to simmer on this I believe that it is not targeted directly at me however they have encircled my base. They have placed foundations connected from their base at dagons claw between my base and the obelisk in the jungle. Fence foundations have been placed so close around my build that I deal with land claim issues throughout my whole base unable to place torches/walls/fences. While I do not believe it is targeted at me I do believe it is a clear abuse of the land claim system seeing as they are spreading through the whole jungle with no clear objective other than to wrap around my build. I believe this would be a very different story in PVP but seeing as how I have no way other than a purge to remove the path blocking my base I have come here seeking guidance. I can enter my base today but tomorrow I may not be able to even enter my bases land claim. Now my questions for this forum are is purging their fences and stealing the land between me and the obelisk the right move on PVE as suggested? Or is there official support for this kind of a nuisance?
