Fix lights with their changing brightness and make them stop shining through walls, ceilings and roofs please

Basic Info:

Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: Online Official
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: 1020
Mods: ‘none’

Bug Description:

I noticed lights (even from a simple candle) shine way too bright sometimes.
I think it changes depending on the “day” or if its suddenly get dark or light.

Plus that it lights through walls, ceilings and roofs is really killing the immersion.

Please fix it.
Thanks in advance!

Bug Reproduction:

Speaks for itself.

Bug reports for Conan Exiles Enhanced should be sent here: Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center

It’s weird because there they transfered me here…
Plus, the old version is pretty much unsupported due to this new version.
So why are you sending me elsewhere?

Is this a bug report for CEE or for Legacy? As I understand it Legacy bugs are still supposed to be reported here. It’s the bugs with the new version CEE that are supposed to be reported to helpshift (because that helps get them to the Inflexion devs sooner)

Then why did I get sent here? So weird.
Ok bye bye all

As you are playing on Steam I assume you play Enhanced? The bug report recommends to look on the forum in case there is already a solution here. Did you get a reply-email, looks like this:

Greetings, Exile!

Thank you for your report. Your ticket has been received and added to our review queue for investigation.

Bug reports are reviewed by our team and shared with the developers when needed. If we need any additional information, we’ll reach out through this ticket.

Before submitting additional reports, we recommend checking the Conan Exiles forums for known issues and recent patch notes: https://forums.funcom.com/c/conan-exiles/5

We appreciate you taking the time to report this and help us improve Conan Exiles.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but that’s just an automated reply. It always says the same thing (and there is a possiblity that a solution to some issues might exist on the forums) - it would need an actual team member to look at it, identify the correct solution and then direct people to it, which is time away from doing something else. While those sorts of automated replies can be a little frustrating in their general lack of helpfulness, I just view them as an acknowledgment of receipt and mostly ignore the rest of it (if there was a solution on the forums to whatever I’m reporting, then I would probably have seen it already…).

if fc knew the solution for CE and was able to introduce the solution , we would not be here complaining! we would play!!!
