Flying Buttress? Not really, but many gothic castles used them.
The Exile Building sets could use them for added stability too.

As much as i would like to it in game, i struggle to see how they would go about it. It would need to come in different size and styles to fit whatever build it should support.
Plus machicolations and proper crenellations
