I had summoned a demon and leveled it upto level 7 or 8.
Put it on guard in my base, went and captured a thrall to turn into a corpse.
When i crafted the corpse it deleted my demon even though i only had 3 followers.
Not sure why it did.
I was hesitant on even summoning another corpse and removed armor on my dancer just incase it deleted her for no reason.
Luckily it didnt, so it put my follower count to 4 so again not sure why demon got deleted.
All summoned creatures are temporary.

Then why can you level it up if you dont get to keep it like a pet? Or even for that matter u turn a thrall into a corpse that is instantly level 20.
Which in a sense is creating/summoning it but they have persisted over 24 hours.
If thats the case and its a temporary creature it should craft at max level instead of wasting our time to level it just for it to be viable, just to loose it in an hour.
Makes no sense.
Demon from summoning circle not from a spell if that makes a difference.
I doesn’t make sense to me that summoned corpses last 2-3 days and others are much shorter, or that you can level up a summoned horse, but it is non-the-less temporary. Sorry.
