For the Greater wheel of pain 's circle shaped foundation platform, how many foundations in length I’ll need to set ?

From experience only.
The size of the greater could easily fit on 2 squares after the hexagon. But even in 3 (squares) it’s getting bagged sometimes and you need to rotate until it will attach.
For some reason i cannot understand the greater wheel is attaching easier on square constructions than polygon.

So a line of the circle platform could go like this in length ?:
Square 1 - square 2 - square 3 - triangle 1 (4) - triangle 2 (5) - square 6 - square 7 - square 8
