Heavy stuttering starting with intro cinematic and continuing throughout gameplay upon login followed by disconnects on the PS5
Extremely low FPS if journey steps are displayed in top right corner.
Journey steps do not stay off when turned off in settings and have to be reactivated and deactivated upon each login.

framerate issues start at the opening cutscene before the main menu has even loaded.

the bug sections are littered of these reports since the golem update, something in that specific update caused these issues.

Playing on PS5. Game stutters badly with occasional smooth gameplay.
Animations stop working after a while (breast animations in particular)
Elephants disappear and become invisible while attacking u.
Frequent washing out of colours in general and the ground under the grass becomes blindingly bright. Even brighter than the sun!!!

It’s a great and fun game even when played solo. But the performance of the game is ridiculously bad. How can a game this old after so many patches perform so poorly. The problems seem to persist on all playstation consoles.

Also please consider unlocking the frames for the ps5 and for the love of god release or update the textures/visuals for the ps5. If I had known the game would have so many issues, I would have never purchased it.

Yep, while progressing the journey objectives even after loading into the game, I uncheck show journey steps and the damned journey steps still persist on appearing as I complete the objectives. Turning show journey off resolves nothing and a quick fix is to check and then uncheck the box, which is so very tedious and a hassle… Please devs investigate this and find a solution and fix it!! I’ve read multiple posts regarding this issue and all I see is a response from one of the support teams that is just empty words at this point. -Edit- Platform PS4 slim 1tb and I always play on either co-op or single player with myself or with one to two friends.

Unfortunately doing so isn’t a quick fix so players that are experiencing this annoying bug are forced to tolerate it until devs actually fix it. I began loading into CE with the “Show Journey Steps” unchecked only to complete a few journey objectives and see the damn journey steps appear regardless :/.
