Fragments of Power: can we farm them?

The Khari steel makes Khari armor…I don’t recall where I got the recipe but I’m sure someone somewhere has posted it. That was about 8 total restarts ago for me.

I’d set up an outpost near the pools with a blacksmith, fountain, a few compost boxes and planters and a dismantling bench. But thats me, I try to make dirt out of everything trying to kill me.

good luck

The wiki has all of this information. See the boss map here and the Relic Fragment chest locations here.

That map erjoh posted is the one I created for the wiki.

You never left a base decay? It didn’t had fragments in it? You will!
The word “easier” goes to obtain the legendary pieces from mobs.
If red and green had 50/50 the drops, if every skeleton in wine cellar had his own drop, the same with the skeletons in the unnamed city, less rng, better game .

@cowmera, fix a khari hammer !

I’m still not completely understanding.

I have had. It did. No problem. What?

Umm, ok. What does that have to do with Fragments of power?

Oh, I think I understand this part… although the “red and green” is throwing me. o0

I guess you want legendary armor to drop super often. Hmm, I never really thought about it. When you craft them they’re always superior and so drops aren’t of interest - except for dismantling bench food.

In conan as in most games, Legendary items are supposed to be super rare - or only obtained with great difficulty. It’s a system of elitism and noobs or the unworthy and unwashed aren’t supposed to have them. :stuck_out_tongue: But if you can beat up the NPCs at The Mounds I think it’s actually greater than 50% drop rate. Maybe 75% or higher (seems like it). I guess the drop rate of legendary armor, repair kits, and weapons is about right in Conan - maybe the weapons are too prolific - every Loot Chest is 100% sure to have. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is wrong, deadly wrong! Rng system is making no exceptions if you are noob or professional! Rng is pure luck no matter who killed the dragon or how!
The rest in private :slightly_smiling_face:

For me, that was the quickest pool. Just above and behind I’d have the outpost setup…I wouldn’t take more than 3 statues because your pockets will be full…uptop, I had them lined up for the next trip…Yeah, you can get a few hundred in an hour or two…every tablet spent gives you additional points to learn more, but opening the crafting menu becomes an rng in itself…““is it gonna crash or not??””

Nope… not wrong. Or please show me the common noob who can run around and defeat the bosses necessary to acquire the fragments of power or the NPCs who drop the legendary gear. Hell, you can’t even use the fragments till you’re level 60. Of course it’s a system of elitism - almost all modern games are. To get to ones that aren’t you need to go all the way back to games like Quake III arena where there are no levels or classes and everyone starts out with equal access to all weapons and abilities.

@TeleTesselator
I see no elitism! I already explained you what elitism should be like and unfortunately there is not such a thing in this game and many others! What I will suggest you is to go the soonest possible out of these thoughts of noobs and pros! I will happily inform you that all these years I collected the best info from noobs and not pros! I watch them do things and I was scratching my head thinking “why didn’t I try that all this time!”
What I experience all these years is what I share, nothing more! I am an average player with huge experience in it, nothing else. My deeds in this game may show me as elite, but hell No! I never accepted these titles because they don’t exist. There are truly skilled players that passed from this game and I was happy meeting them they teached me a lot and still do!
One thing is certain and cannot be doubted!
REPEAT IS THE MOTHER OF KNOWLEDGE!
This is the way I’ve done it and I reached to this point!
Last but not least I kept repeating in this game because I love to do it, I find fun on it and I still do.
Best regards, always a pleasure!

Then you aren’t looking or you have an uncommon definition of the word.

If you happen to play the years I played and one day get the feeling that you are nothing in front of others, this day you may see with my own eyes.
Have a good day !

Like I tell my 10 year old…

No, the cup is NOT half empty.
You have a cup with some water in it!!! Now, learn how to fill it.

I say thanks for the cup and fill it with tears every time the game crashes.

Most of the unnamed city bosses drop power drags upon death. The only ones that don’t are the Cobra and the Green Dragon(maybe Red Mother, don’t recall if she drops one) aside from that there are 5 locations where they spawn in boxes which will respawn anew eventually. Also one of the 3 skull Jhils will drop one and I think the Gate Guardian in Klaels also drops one.

Another way to get them is to wait in the Archive for another player to come spend theirs

She does.

Way more than that. See the map posted earlier in the thread.

And let’s not forget the Scorpion Queen in the silver mine
