Appreciate the reply but is there any timescale for this? I’ve only just bought CE and would like to play with the background music.
Hey @anfalas
Welcome to our community.
We’re afraid we don’t have any ETA yet, but this is one is one of our top priorities at this moment. Once we have more concrete information about when this fix is coming, we’ll let you all know. Apologies for the frustration.
I understand you can’t tell us how long it will take, especially since Microsoft/Sony require certification things for patches, but can you tell us a bit of what the patch might fix? The music I know for sure, you just said so. But anything else? Like the PS4 fan going crazy when near/inside bases? I’m only asking that one because I read that this didn’t used to occur before he hotfix. I have to say it didn’t happen to me before, and I thought it was doing it now because my base is getting big, but now even when I go back to my small original thatch house the fan goes nuts. (too many thralls, man I don’t know lol)
And what about altars dissappearing when upgrading to last form?
I mean it would be good to have a bit of concrete info here. I love this game and I’m not whining or anything, just want information lol.
For now, what we’re targeting to fix ASAP is the god bubble issue, the music bug (it has been fixed internally already), crash fixes on PS4 (all models), PS4Pro performance issues and a couple of exploits. We’re also running a few tests regarding general performance on PS4 systems, although for now they’re just tests to see what could be happening related to the fan noises some players reported.
As usual we cannot set any estimates yet as they depend on many variables out of our control.
So I decided to take a break of playing Skyrim and look into my post I made 17 days ago to see if you have fixed anything, aspecially the music bug and it appears you still havent’t fixed it since then. I have also seen that this post has accumulated 1.3k views, which is nice.
So just to remind you, you broke the music with patch 1.40, which was rolled out on May 8th if I remember right. That is 20 days ago now - let that sink in. Almost 3 weeks with no patch for the music.
Great job guys.
Oh well, back to Skyrim I guess, somehow I have found a new appreciation for the ambient music there, strange.
