The challenge “kill bat creatures” counts the Child of Jhil as bat creatures. You would think any Conan fan would know they are crows. Not bat creatures bird creatures. The only bat creatures in game I know of are the bat demons; think there’s 3???
I take it whom ever came up with the challenges doesn’t know much Conan lore. You have any questions about lore come to the discord, ask Jimbo. 
If anything I’d say this is more a technical issue. They share the same rig as the Bat Demons so when they were made it wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of the same data went along with them. Either they forgot about them or felt it wasn’t too pressing an issue.
It certainly wouldn’t be the only case of it happening with this patch like how Black Hand armor doesn’t have any bonus stats on it at all (and I’m STILL waiting for any kind of confirmation one way or the other about targetting reticule spread with movement now that accuracy isn’t a stat).
Well FC doesn’t have the best record on knowledge of animals. For instance wolves, and other canine species don’t count toward the wild dog challenge despite being wild dogs.
This one is probably more a matter of semantics - ‘wild dogs’ are a specific enemy type on siptah.
There are at least 10 in Unnamed City, not counting the boss.
Haven’t seen one yet. I knew there was a couple just haven’t seen them in the unnamed city. But I’m just farming fragments so may be avoiding them with out knowing.
You know where the bat boss is? Most of them are on top of the walls above.
I thought it never had any bonus stat?
Could be, I’m probably misremembering its stats but I could’ve swore it used to have attribute bonuses.
I think the ancient Norse were on to something with Hugin and Munin because like a raven, memory sure loves to play tricks on you.
Child of Jhil gives bat skin tho.

I think he meant 3 types: the regular ones, and the boss Winged death in the UC at The Aviary, and the Albino bat demon on top of the Tower of the bats.
