CE is underwhelming vs other games in the genre.
Funcom does not have a lot to work with to maintain it’s profit margin because we have a low player base, that spikes each time there is a DLC. (Or when Mounts come) for example.)
What CE needs to do is increase the decay timer so that it stops chasing away casual players.
Limit the spam (thralls) so that their servers can handle more players on them, so they feel more alive.
And then, moderate the abusers so that (again) players are not chased away.
This would result in a much more active, less dramatic play experience. And more people would buy DLC products.
