Furnace cause screen flashing white

The thread with this bug existed but have been closed. Epilepsy bug - Flashing white light in certain conditons - A bit scary - Epilepsy warning!

The Furnace force screen to turn white. When moving or rotating camera it flashes like hell. The issue is cause by the flame and rain.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Go to the wood biom.
  2. Build fundation
  3. Build furnace
  4. turn it on
  5. Wait for rain
  6. rotate camera/move to see glitch

Does it happen to all furnaces? First time I see sth like this.

I didn’t see this glitch by normal furnace - but by two others I did

Senyaak, there are three types of furnaces, regular, improved and the kiln (from the unnamed city scrolls).

When you say ‘the other two’, do you mean the improved or the kiln?

OK, if I understand you correctly, it happens with both the Improved Furnace and the Kiln?

And the second thing that makes it happen is rain, eh?

That may be enough to go on, @Ignasi, unless you can shed more light (pun intended).

It also happens with Yog pits.

Yes it is correct.
I think you have to place the furnace on wet foundation to get this glitch. The fire inside combined with wet material cause it
