Furnace - Oil as fuel?

I always make 20 fishtrap at once. Usually 10 fishtrap and 10 other trap I forgot the names, but since I found out that crabs arent that useful compared to fish, I changed all 20 to fishtrap only.

Put the reptile hide and feline pelt in the tanner, 1-1 tar per pelt/reptile hide.

except the bark droprate is like 2-4 per tree on the server im on
whereais coal is 2-4 with every swing of the pic

(measured with iron tools)

Wait, Whaaaaaaaaat!?

The drop rate varies based on location and tools. The jungle and up north match the rate you state. However the white leafless trees in the desert drop more bark.

hmm interesting, the white trees are they near the savannah as well? &what about cacti and the palm trees in the noob river

We took the coal and made torches on a stick, and are currently making lit pathways between domiciles, ours and others.

So yeah in the oasis you crank the grey palm trees with a hatchet for wood and branch, and switch to the pick for bark and wood on the joshua-tree-ish dark-bark trees. Hard worker Survival perk gets you durability for miles.

Use black ice pick or pickaxe with top mod (hardened steel and oil) vs dead trees for bark and dry wood. Chop branches on ground (3-D versions only) with hatchet for branches for days. When you’re done making palisades, toss all your loads of branches in the dryer with some of that extra bark.

Woah can’t believe I didn’t know this yet!
You have made my day.
