The game freezes at random times. The error code on ps4 is CE-34878-0 “An error occurred in the game or application”. This is a bug that only occurs in Conan Exiles. The game freezes only in Conan Exiles. I reported this a long time ago and nothing was done about it. I was hoping it would be fixed in the latest Age of Heroes update. But I was very disappointed.
literally at random times. Once after 1 hour of play, once after 30 minutes, once after 5 minutes, once after 2 minutes literally randomly. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, whether I’m traveling, building, fighting or collecting etc etc
Often the PS4 error code does not appear, but the game simply freezes and you have to manually close it by holding the PS button on the controller and closing the game
The only thing I’ve noticed is that when I start a new game over, usually in the evening. I play for a few hours, 3-4 hours, maybe 5 hours, and then I turn the game off and go to sleep. The next day when I start playing the sequel, the game randomly crashes, the game randomly freezes. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed
usually when i finish i start a sequel with some built in base for myself, no slaves because i leave it for the next days.
do you think restarting the game in this edition of Age of Heroes will solve the problem? I’m a bit afraid of that because I’ll start playing again for the X time, and what if the problem persists? I’ll lose what I’ve already done in the game because I’d have to replace the old save with a new save
ok, you only live once. I’ll start the game again today on the base map, play for a few hours and see what happens tomorrow. Although I think the chances of this bug not appearing are slim
and that didn’t help. After 2 hours of playing the game crashed and as usual the PS4 error code appeared. I was collecting iron and was just returning to base. Before that I gave the raw materials to two furnaces to craft it, to two tanneries to craft leather and a foal to the stable to craft an adult horse and wood to process. I turned it on again and after almost 1 hour the game crashed. I entered the game, gave it to craft wood again and gave it to craft leather as well, it continued crafting my horse, I went to fight, I died and it didn’t even reach the loading screen because the game crashed.
I’m having the same issue. The common thing that I’m doing when it freezes or crashes is SIMPLY PLAYING THE GAME. Like Legenda said it doesn’t matter what we do it just happens constantly and at random times. Sometimes I’ll launch the game and it will freeze on the Funcom logo screen before I even get to the main menu, other times as soon as I load into to my solo game and try to simply walk or even if I don’t do that it freezes or crashes sometimes both.
Im having the same issues. Does not matter whether im moving, in a purge or doing the freya quest. The only common thread is single player that i can see. The game wouldvfreeze and crash occasionally before the age of heroes update but now ive had it happen upwards of 6 times in an hour.
This has been a problem for over 2 years. Lmao. I, and others have reported it numerous times. They either have no intent on fixing it or they are incompetent.
strangely enough, for two years for me. Because a year ago I played Conan normally and there was no such problem when I bought the game and started playing. And even earlier when they added Conan Exiles as a game to the extra subscription on PS4. I immediately bought the subscription and started playing and there was no such problem. So I bought it a year ago because I had played it earlier with the PS4 subscription. And that was maybe two years ago. I don’t remember exactly when they added it to the subscription.
