I don’t know what happened for their crap to brake everything like it did. Sad it did and they don’t care enough to let the customers know if they even are aware of it.

Likely something to do with the next update, maybe they preloaded something on the servers that went wrong.

I kept trying to get past the authentication error and it did eventually let me get on a server taking anywhere between 10 to 20 attempts each time. Let me know if this worked for anyone else.

Worked for me as well. Took about 8 tries in quick succession and my private server let me in.

I just continually tried to re-join after each failed attempt, no closing of game or steam restart required

I have a server doing the same thing. First it started to happen to random people and just got worse. Restart, reinstall, repair, unblock, reboot, etc… Now none of us can get in … been most of the day even after rinse and repeating what was washed 10 times already. It’s Friday - I have been battling this since last night and while working today. I just want to play.
Update - I did try the log in multiple times and finally got in.
Note: Logs show an attempt to connect and validate an unknown account and it times out and kicks you because it cannot authenticate you because nothing is sent/or not received.

Except it’s happening on both official and private.
Your agenda is pretty obvious considering your attempts to gain population on your private server recently.
Most find advertising privates on officials in poor taste.

Confirming that worked for me as well. Took about 5 tries to get into my private server, and 3 tries to get into the official that I play on.

Fully updated and restarted my LAN server, on client I verified the files, it works now.

Can confirm multiple tries, not restarting software, can get you in.

I also was able to finally join server after 15 attempts without restarting game. Someone on server speculates a ddos attack.

i mentioned in the discord for the private server I play on many hoops we have to jump thru to play this game. Official and non for almost 4 years now and there is always a something.

I’ve tried logging into a server on multiple accounts after verifying game files, restarting steam, restarting pc, uninstalling and reinstalling battleye. Nothing works. Same error every time. Official and Private servers.

Then they should stop adding things and work on the player base / community to make more money to make more content. simple…
