Recently this server already had a bug where it was offline for days and had more than 20x resets per day, but it was fixed, now this specimen of “ghost” players appeared on the server, when you haven’t entered Conan Exiles for a long time, your character’s body disappears, and somehow there was this bug that they came back, but with a life bar of 200 HP, the problem occurs when an enemy on the map attacks this ghost player, when he reaches around 30/50 HP, the server remains online for about 10 seconds and it crashes, loses connection with the administrator, in this case the machine this server is on, the server has several of these ghost players spread across random places, but the largest number is concentrated at the beginning of the game in 2-F, and throughout the entire noob river
It’s literally the same bug, I believe there are few servers with this type, I think that in this topic that I opened, an administrator could do the job faster
Hmm, based on the way things are done, an administrator wouldn’t be reviewing reports here for Official server specific issues, let me explain.
Seems there’s two things going on here. The bug itself and how your server is being affected.
A bug requires a bug report in the forums. The reports are gathered by moderators and sent for review. What they do after that is best guess although you can use industry standards and deductive reasoning. Generally bugs will see action based on severity and amount of reports if it is something they can tackle in a shorter amount of time, addressed in hotfixes and updates. You’ve been around long enough to know some bugs take months and years to see resolution.
If is affecting the server to the severity you’re describing, then it requires a Zendesk report. Since your preferred server appears to have suffered serious stability issues recently, I would feel confident in submitting a Zendesk ticket under Server Performance so it can get eyes on it quicker. While it might not solve the bug from reappearing, at least they might be able to remove the current instances.
I would suggest if you insist on only submitting a bug report here you ensure it contains the template, since they will require it.
I believe that @Kikigirl is correct, this requires Zendesk investigation.
The only reason i didn’t comment anything is because i never witness anything like it and i was waiting to see if others experienced or understood things like you did, a silent support was all i could give brother!
It’s heartbreaking to see that gportal does not offer good quality servers and Funcom have to do the dirty job all the time. You cannot imagine how many private servers suffer unique bugs and Admins deliberately change parameters to create a comfortable experience on their servers.
One day Gportal have to answer for this.
That’s the complicated thing, I think that due to the size of Funcom, which is now Tencent, they would be able to finance their own servers, it would be easier to work and act in these cases.
The distance problem isn’t me, it’s the other players who probably have no idea what an anomaly is causing the server to collapse, right when I’m organizing things in my house the server collapses from time to time xD
Wow.
I hope they get the message to avoid it until the issue is resolved.
This probably isn’t so much an issue to be resolved by zendesk (such as reporting exploits, cheats, hacks) or needing a “dev reply” as it may be more of a technical issue that requires developer attention.
In taking a look at the report, it may need to be revised to indicate:
official server #
“anomaly”
locations
not reproducible by players
results of player interactions (crashing / server restart).
Think that over @Geee.
Be as specific and direct as possible.
In the recent past it seems that known issues submitted to Zendesk sometimes are marked as solved, it is like some kind of internal process of acknowledgement or they’re in process.
I would suggest encouraging any players on the server to also submit reports.
