Glitchy NPC Movement on Inclines Results In Death... Again

I’m sure everyone knows how messed up the movement is for all NPCs on any incline, but today I had a couple instances where it was particularly bad.

Early this morning dragons from the Unnamed City were actually killed because of this. They were following me down a slope and just flew off and splattered on the ground. Free dragon horns.

Then just a few minutes ago on my way to the Temple of Frost, Freya warped around and died while trying to follow me up a shallow incline near a frost giant camp…

So I got another Freya and started exploring again… And this happens.

It’s so pointless getting thralls when they keep dying like this.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Play the game.
  2. Watch any NPC in the world try to move across a surface of any gradient.

i feel you, had this hapen to me so often i resort to admin panel until it gets fixed. sure i got it easy in singleplayer, still it’s annoying to lose stuff you
played for legit the first time. i even stopped giving thralls the good stuff i.e legendary weapons because even while they don’t degrade it’s durability (minus shields) the last thrall with my vaulting pole got swallowed by the ground or building block.
and i’ll be damned to rip a building apart to dig up his stuff, again.
