It would be a nice feature if you could add a bar mold to the casting table. I know we can just farm ore and smelt it but when you already have hundreds of coins or thousands of dust laying around it would be easier and kinda make sense to be able to smelt it back to bar form for some of the recipes.

You can just throw coins into the furnace and smelt it to a bar.

I should prob have been more specific. I know you can throw coins in the furnace but the values are too far out for my liking. 1 bar in the casting table makes 5 coins. It takes 33 coins in the furnace to make 1 bar. I’d like a mold for the casting table that reverts the ratios back. Maybe not the same let’s say 10 coins to a bar?

Thats a server settings issue. It only costs me 5 coins per bar on the server I play on. As for dust it doesn’t smelt which is fins as I use it for crafting anyways.
But it should. You should be able to create gold bars out of every form of raw gold.

This has always confused me. I’d much rather keep all my gold and silver in bar form and just grind what I want if I need it.

Yes however do realize how much dust it would take to make a coin alone not to mention a bar. Thousands.
Gold and silver are straight ores. They do not oxidise or vaporise during smelting so zero product is lost. Same goes for grinding and the revision of such. Unless you’re being straight up careless an ounce of gold remains an ounce of gold regardless of what form you smelt it too or wether it is ground or cut into chucks.
