With the new changes coming into play for crafters, can we please get our sorcery towers established without pesky humans running around…like the vermin they are?
I suggest the ability to make a crafter arm for golems and or convert crafters into crafting zombies.
The golem crafters can start at t2 and go up to t4 based on golem type and the zombies, with their temporary nature, rise with 2 tiers higher than what they were with a max of t4.
While this one would not suggest Tier 4 golem crafters…
Unless there was a massive power fragment, no, tablet and legendary artifact cost…
This one does agree wholeheartedly that Golems should be able to work mass production.
Machine men, with machine minds, and machine hearts, endlessly producing goods.
Perhaps the Golem is the crafting station?
Or at least a mobile furnace?
Undead crafters, on the other hand.
Absolutely. Sorcery to bind the soul of great artisans to some area or object is very in keeping with Hyborian Age themes and tones.
Honestly, that would be a great way to repair legendary gear. With the spirit of a legendary (named) crafter.
Makes them more robots than golems at that point. The spirit ensuring it’s function still needs to approve of the vessel and I doubt it will like the idea of being functional furniture over an automaton able to venture out and move.
I like that. There is a sense of balance at that point but would require another consumable., a greater soul essence
This one isn’t certain that the Golems in this game are necessarily similar to Khabbalistic ones, or even D&D ones.
But when in doubt, shove a spirit from the volcano into it.
Obsidian and Magma golem chassis can be the portable smelting furnace.
They are still ambulatory, they just are also basic craft stations.
I love the idea of zombie crafters or ghostly crafters. This fits my headcannon so well for my sorceress. Also I would like the option to sacrifice a crafter slave that’s outlived it’s usefulness. Slit the throat of the tier2 and make deliberate eye contact with the tier3 that just took over the job.

Or they can just give us Ghost, zombie and Stygian mummy outfits as a costume pack for Halloween. Since we can now dress up our crafter thralls in the next update I would be ok with this for my dark sorcery tower. Or maybe undead fodder we can feed freshly broken crafter thralls to get undead crafter variants.
