On my Server we have good natured debates over which God is the most powerful within the Exiled Lands. I thought I would ask the forums to see what this wider group thinks.
Iâm not sure how exactly to compare - if they are worshiped, then they all have their own niche in the world. But overall, I would say that it will be âOld Serpent Sethâ, due to fack that we very often hear about mighty stygian sorcerers and almost everyone are worshiping Seth.
Crom of course!
I like the cut of your jib. I believe Set rules the exiled lands with the number of monuments devoted to him. Also the sheer number of worshipers in these lands.

- All cults in the game are created equal.
- According to mythology, the oldest cult is Djebbal Sag, because he was worshiped by animals even before the appearance of man.
- According to mythology, Yog is a prototype of Yog Sothoth, who is an emanation of Azathoth, the supreme God of the Universe.
- A purely practical way is to see which avatar does more damage in the allotted time. Iâve watched a few videos and some avatars do more damage than others.
Bah Azathoth is just a hungry blob of protoplasm that sleeps eternally. Yog is a god for degenerates who eat the flesh of their own kind. The old Serpent was worshipped before man as well be the elder Serpentman race. Curse the name of Kull of Valusia beyond the end of all times.

Not just.
Compare:
"Ancient Hindus were convinced that our reality (our world) is a dream of Vinshu.
Before the creation of the Universe, Vishnu slumbered in the cosmic Milk Ocean of primordial waters on the divine serpent Adi-Shesha. And from his navel grows a lotus, from which appears Brahma, the creator god who creates the Universe.
It turns out that our Universe is Brahma.
Being a (intentional, controlled, or maybe not) dream of Vishnu, Brahma creates, creates worlds.
Vishnuâs dream is bizarre and multi-layered. Our world is just one of the countless layers of his incomprehensible dream."
So the dream of the Supreme God is not our human dream at all, it is a form of activity.
You bring Vendhyan scribblings when discussing the gods of the exiled lands? Oh Teng you are an amusing one. As far as I know there are no gods of Vendhya worshipped within these lands.

The meaning of my previous post is in its last phrase.
By the way, in the âThrall Warâ mod there is an Altar of the Naked Nun, which is a simple stone slab on which you can create cult objects of all the vanilla gods.
One can continue the thought in the direction of the relativity and even deceptiveness of each god of the game, which are just forms of manifestation of a single divine energy.
I assume you refer to that crazed theory of Kuraks where all the Gods including almighty Set are but cloth masks worn by some being called Nyarlathotep.
Preposterous!

Kurak is the only one who for a moment was able to see the Supreme Truth, and this Truth blinded him and drove him mad, for no mortal can bear the sight of it.
We killed him with the aid of Mek Kamoses. Who considered Kurak to be a powerful agent of chaos. He was madness unleashed, We who follow Set know that control is everything. We must embrace emptiness. Set is supreme.

Ymirâs avatar, in my opinion, is the strongest overall by in game measure (ability to destroy buildings, destroy ground enemies and traverse environment). Also itâs the only one actually armed.
I also view gods by who worships them, the mighty frost giants follow Ymir and would imagine that any slimy cold-blooded snake man wouldnât go anywhere near to the cold regions of Ymir. You could even suspect that the serpent men of the volcano are trapped on all sides by Ymir as the heart of the volcano is the only safe place from Ymirâs bitter cold.
From another source: âDread Ymir rules icy Valhalla, a realm of long halls, snowy glaciers and eternal drinking, wenching and ïŹghting.â That sounds pretty great to me.
On a less serious note, I think Conan would have great difficulty fighting Ymir and itâs followers because Conan would have to wear a shirt.
Didnât have much difficulty chasing Atali
Based on interpretation, he nearly froze to death due to running into the cold without appropriate protection. Although I wouldnât dare say that to his face.
@ topic
Depends on how you measure strength.
Who would win in a straight fight, god against god? Who has the most powerful followers? Who has the most beneficial teachings?
A direct fight would probably never occur. I doubt Set would be stupid or courageous enough to face a brute like Ymir in direct combbat, instead using guile and his minions to thwart his plans.
Also, the answer might be difficult: Maybe Mitra is immune to our could heal Setâs poison? How would Ymir even attack a flying polyp like Yog?
The most influential god is obviously Set. He was worshipped by the Giant-Kings and shaped their society. The serpentfolk probably also worshipped him, as do the people in Sepermeru as well as the Stygian soldiers. Toth Amon is in league with Set. If one asked which god was to blame for the horrible state of affairs in the Exiled Lands, the answer would have to be SetâŠ
⊠ooooor Nyarlathotep, who may be responsible for the Serpentfolk bringing the shiny McGuffin to the Exiled Lands among other things. But does he even count, considering he has no obvious followers in the Exiled Lands?
If one values independence and practicality, the strongest god in the Exiled Lands would be Crom. He doesnât need to bribe followers with gifts, but teaches them to shape their own destiny.
That is more beneficial than Setâs influence, Iâd say. If we look at the real world, sacrificing people didnât bring us all that far, but developing our own technology and society did.
So, if one measures strength by wisdom or benefit to his followers, itâs Crom.
On the other hand, he might be imaginary. But again, thatâs most likely true for real life, too, and doesnât really matter in the end.
Mithra by far. If the two baddies Set and Zath are not working together at least, but Mitras powers when used are really over the top from linghtning strikes to freaking meteors. Not to mention that he is the sun and can burn you to crisps. And he can give his priests the power to oneshot everything -.-
Zath can be a real bad god to mess with, since his power comes in unending swarms of spiders summoned by his priests. However, kill the priest and the mess ends.
Set is an idiot to be fair. He is the âhead through the wallâ kind, who may scheme but has no sense of tactics whatsoever, resulting in his plans often failing royally. I dont know how this guy ever got so strong to rule the exile lands through the ancient civilization. (Maybe because Mithra was not there and Set might be the only god who was worshiped that time. Or maybe Set just revels in dooming mankind, donât know.)
Jhebbal Sagg is powerfull when his opponents can be mauled by alpha hyenas else not so much.
Ymir has giants under his belt and is knowing for mobilizing great armies when needed. Which can be a powerful force as well. He does not act often though. I dont know if he generally can beat Mitra, but if his cult is well established, he can.
Derketo is the weakest. She can be aggrissive when getting on her bad side with posioning food and whatnot but is the first to fall when some god goes on a rampage against the others.
Yog is an oppurtunist who eats all day and strikes when he thinks he has a chance but beside being worshiped by the darfari, he does not involve himself very much.
I think it is obviously Bel, the god of thieves. Just look at any PvP server.
More or less all gods are âfathersâ of humanity, no matter the religion and the origin. Fiction or true!
The best father gives life and âsuppliesâ to his children to live their âownâ life, to mark their âownâ path. ONLY Crom acts this way and expects nothing back, needs nothing back.
So technically Crom IS the best father of all and thatâs exactly whatâs making him the best god.
Even in game, the strongest player can do more damage than all the avatars together. So Crom definitely rules.
The one the enemy uses when you arenât online
Simple answer.
It is all of us.
