What do you mean no cold protection! Why those chains look very warming…lol. It is kinda funny that this skimpy outfit is for cold resist. I play a male and was wearing that for a while in the game till I got my strength up.
I put it on one of our strippers cough I mean dancers. Looks cool on her 
Well, Hyperboreans live up north, east of the Aesir and Vanir, so surely they know how to dress for the weather.
And since Funcom is Norwegian, also up north, I’m sure they’re familiar enough with cold-weather clothing so as not to make a mistake like this. In fact, I believe the Hyperborean outfit is based on Funcom’s office uniforms.
Who am I to judge. When it gets to about 16 Celsius (60F), I think i will freeze. Seen snow a few times up in the mountains when I was a kid, and a few times overseas. Horrible stuff, if it wasn’t so damn cold might actually be pleasant. looks nice but the side effects are horrible (that being cold).
We wear similar clothing here to the hyperboreans, but thats in summer.
I’ve just been through a Brisbane summer and those hyperborean pants look far to warm for me.
I’d gladly take the first plane to hyperborea dressed in the culturally appropriate gear.
