Healing should continue even after you take damage

I am not sure how realistic that is, not that it matters because

that’s exactly how it should be!

if you have fun like that, it seems good and I encourage you to continue playing in a player mode locally, but many other players want to play with some difficulty. Those who want to play like you have private servers and only one player mode. Thank you
I forgot you can always enter the administrator mode, use the god mode, create the objects of the administrator panel and devote to walk through the lands of exile, it will be more fun.

you know what could be awersome, AND it was mention by past post & statement (i don’t remember if official or not but i think it was a thing dev were aware of), would be an actual lock animation when drinking a pot/apply a bandage/eat food

if i remember right, the very first video about conan exile back before early came out showed an animation for drinking the Icon water skin.png\ 64x64Waterskin.

We need that so ppl will think twice before healing in combat

I repeat, everyone plays as they want and likes. I do not criticize that. I do not like that they want to modify the official servers to be able to play in their own way.

They can always play on servers where the rules or settings look the best.

The theme is simple is one cured during combat? the answer is simple as long as you do not recieve harm if, through potions etc. Another issue is that the system of healing methods (consumables) needs a revision.

It is logical to think that while you are fighting you are hurt and regeneration or healing is not possible. the same happens with the external temperature conditions.

I have been “dancing” with a boss and curing myself with ambrosia and without problem.
There are many games that have the same method, for example any diablo that the cure method were potions.

I advocate this approach. Animations are not just for decoration. They are also a form of situation sensitive handicap and also a chance to provide personality. :slightly_smiling_face:

They also serve to deliver motion. Motion is a key element to everything and one lacking enough motion in a theatrical sense lacks spirit. This is why some games reflect a feeling of a void; space without motion.
