The story began with people from the clan syncope coming to the server, a bunch of people said that they were cheaters known on many official servers, as a result a clan war began in which the suspect clan defeated the top clans although they gave a serious fight back. Then, on 04/27/2025, a person without a clan tag, level zero, came in and loot started disappearing from all the workbenches and chests on the server, there was nothing in the logs, as if the loot had just taken and evaporated, there were still a couple of hours left before the raid time. Then one of the players wrote in the chat that he caught a person at his base who was stealing loot and disspawned him. As soon as the cheater was caught, he disconnected, then when I was already sleeping and the raid time had already passed, one of the players sent a message in the discord that this cheater came to the server again, I decided to go in to see what was there, and oh miracle, there was no loot again, but the cheater managed to show up in the logs, apparently forgot to turn on the self-hiding function. I went to bed in armor, if anything, I managed to farm a little loot, there was a lot of metal in the craft. I don’t know if this person is connected in any way with that clan or not, because they also complained that something disappeared from their base, but nevertheless, for a new player, the experience is unforgettable, Anti-cheat is just super 1000/10, and the protection of the official servers, as you can see, is at a high level.
btv server number 1109
Thank you for the hack report.
Now maybe trying doing it right so funcom will respond and investigate?
i did alredy man, I am writing here just to make the situation more public.
So a player with invisible nickname came to the server and commited crimes invisible for the server.
And you are a new player.
Sound to me the other players are trolling you and are having a piss
Having no clan = / = invisible name.
OP’s description is just like many others, including my own experiences; PC servers are at risk of hacks.
I believe there is no reason to be cynical!!! These are things we already know. These are things we have observed. These are things that have been going on for a long time.
He didn’t say Havoc or T-90 tanks.
Items stolen from locked chests. Is this the first time you’ve heard of this? Or items stolen from workbenches in a building with solid walls and ceilings. These are the nature of pvp for this game. Old players are used to this now.
Yes, maybe he just started pvp. But the same thing happened to me when I started. They entered my house, which was solid in every way, and broke my bed. I asked how to report it on the forum, they gave me the link and I reported it. It works the same for everyone who starts pvp in this game. What is the result? Yes, they were banned. But they got very angry. Then they came to that server with new accounts and attacked aggressively. There would be 30 players every night. Now there are 4
I am not being cynical it’s just that your report has been overlooked because, frankly, it doesn’t seem to be a priority for anyone.
To detect hacking, it’s not complicated. Server-side anomaly detection systems can easily be implemented. These systems use simple algorithms to flag suspicious activity, such as a character being too high above the map, a player going underground, moving at impossible speeds, or having unusually high stats.
The reality is that these methods aren’t being used, and unfortunately, some users in this thread will dismiss this as impossible, even though similar systems have been in place for decades in MMOs.
The situation is unlikely to change. If you’re frustrated, you could consider setting up a private server, trying a different game or simply hoping it doesn’t happen again.
Alternatively if you have the technical know-how, you could explore ways to address it yourself.
But I’d recommend doing so quietly
