Welcome to the forum fellow exile.
Please don’t take it as attack, but mostly as friendly chatting.
Why do you wish to report another player that plays exactly like you?
It makes no sense :woman_shrugging:t4:.
So in my opinion, you ain’t going to get any help and you wouldn’t even when Zendesk system was working.
Try to communicate with your neighbors, if you see that any conversation leads to dead end then try to find a different spot. The game has no dismantle penalties anymore, you get exactly what you spend.
The map is big and each biome has outstanding landscapes,
Don’t ruin your gaming time with useless rivalry and if you think of it a bit deeper, all the energy you spend to use the report weapon could be used for gaming fun.
We play on a private park, the only owner is Funcom, everything you fix in their park belongs to them, not to you, so start seeing your self as a visitor and not as an owner and your gaming experience may change to better.
Welcome to the forum again exile.

while i agree in general that MAY be an assumption in this case without further information – which i personally dont care about but just saying …

This tell us nothing, what rule is he breaking? How is he breaking it? When you filed the ticket how many screen caps did you provide? Did you provide the map Coordinates?
Sorry, but your post has the tone of a whinny child.

As a note excessive land claim is a violation, you can be banned for claiming too much; of coarse funcom gives you no idea what too much is. So is surrounding your neighbor so they can’t build.

Thing is I don’t think funcom has anyone doing admin any more. There is no one verifying bug reports in the forum and I haven’t gotten admined on the forum for a couple weeks.

:100:

But the biggest issue is this park has no rangers. It has a number for you to call if you witness some one violating the park rules, but you’re just going to their voice mail. And we’ve seen they wont even show up if the park is burning; hacked PVP.

Has anyone actually had a non-automated reply from Funcom, or seen any action based on their reports?

I am honestly starting to think that the report/help system is not even being manned anymore.
While Funcom used Zendesk it had major problems, but at least was somewhat functional.
Then it seems like they stopped paying Zendesk and the entire help/reporting system was gone for awhile.

Now the automated parts appear to be functioning, but nobody I have spoken to has received any response or action in over a month.
Given their track record, I wouldn’t put it past Funcom to just have reactivated the report menu but there is nobody actually handling them anymore.

Yes i did, but my problem was a crom coin issue. At once @Mayra and @Community in a private message helped me to file a report on Zendesk, an hour ago i received an email from Zendesk admin and an hour later my Crom coin issue solved.

I still own them gratitude for their warm interest and i will never forget their kindness and fast reaction.

For building matters i never ever reported anyone and i never will. Funcom has a great number of free servers with good people. The greatest punishment you actually do on a player is to let him play alone on an empty server.

Any Bazaar related issues seem to be the only remaining priority for them, but I suspect all other reports just stay in limbo forever.

On my server we have a very toxic clan wiping people’s bases with purge exploits nightly at around 2am, and also blocking several lore points/POI.
They are eventually going to be playing on an empty server because many longtime players - several of them kind friends who have done nothing but help people over the years - have already quit after having their bases wiped out and stuff looted by them.
The problem is that they are simultaneously doing this on several servers at once, so they will just move to the next highest pop server and do it again, and again.

For the most part the CE community is really cool, but there is a small minority of toxic players that can make Official Servers miserable for everyone playing on them. Funcom literally doesn’t give a flying f**k about hacks or exploits, the only thing they care about now is keeping the Bazaar cash flowing.
I’m stuck in CE until the ship goes down, but I will not play a multiplayer game without active mods and/or developers whose make player experience a priority ever again.

It took years to understand and remove the fence foundation exploit and some minutes for pvp players to find out sky bases .
But it’s not on players when you fix a system with many exploits, it’s all on devs.
You are correct!

land claiming by spamming single foundations all around the area and my base i have already made tickets about that around a month ago this post was to see if they actually still do anything since the release of dune and it looks like i got my answer there is a lot of players being ignored

But that isn’t new. The system is bad, it’s not being reported, it’s being reported ENOUGH times. 1 report wont do any good.

As Deacon mentioned above , try asking other players on the server for help - the more reports (with evidence) that come in on a player , the better the chances of the admin stepping in

Everything lately seems to point to the fact that it doesn’t matter how many times you report something, the reports are just going into limbo. After ditching Zendesk and not having a help/report system for a while, Funcom re-enabled it but nobody is actually handling the reports.

In addition to the multitude of unaddressed bugs, we’re now going to have hackers and exploiters running rampant without even the minimal effort Funcom made to stop them.

Although it’s hard to imagine how things could get any worse, the game is about to become even more miserable for everyone on officials.

Those types are overwhelmed by social engineers, especially the ones that hang around on the forums yet have no actual will to play the game. There is more interest in fixing the exploit or the hacker then (as the rules said) fix the exploit and the hack (not the exploiter and not the hacker).

this is assumption:

A foreigner settled in the area you wanted for yourself. You built a foundation around it from all sides so it couldn’t spread  and you reported him. You’re very lucky because the admins aren’t interested anymore, otherwise you’d be the one banned for 2 weeks.

Do you think he got management help because your foundations were collapsing and spreading? But you’re wrong. He didn’t get any help. He’s just more experienced than you. He noticed because you were building the foundations one by one, one by one. Two hours after you left, the foundations “collapsed” because they weren’t connected. That person also spread easily in the region. ( Your mistake was not tying the foundations or columns together. That’s why they had such a short decay time. )

It looks like you’ll be the one getting hurt in this fight. There’s nothing stopping him from harming you with his call for liquidation. I suggest you move and get away from him.

Don’t try to purge. 95% of the time it will result in the destruction of everything that belongs to you.

I think your bases are close. Move them to a safer place without hurting each other.
