Me and a clan mate of mine played for a few hours and when I logged back in an hour later my character had apparently died and all my items gone.
He had just created me a set of Silent Legion which now is gone.
I play on a official server PVE-C 1042 and my character is called Theaky.
The event log doesn’t say anything about my character dying when I was offline.
As a new user I can not upload images of the event log or use links 
Same server, same issue, happen 2 times now.
Can check my post in the forum.
If it’s PVE-C I assume you can be killed and looted while asleep? Not sure if that would show up in the log though.
Where you logged out while indoors with medium temp full of food/drink etc?
Remember silent legion is not protecting you against cold, in fact it makes cold wery dangerous because your 30 points in health perk do not work if you are offline, and the armor is heat protected.
Was it during pvp time on the server?
Cant you go back and loot your body?
I have died by people throwing gas orbs in my house through windows while starting on new server, small house etc, so thats totally possible.
I havent died for a long time now, allways log ut in neutral temp and full of food/water and safe spot you should be fine.
Never out in the wild, never!
I have a basement in my house no windows.
Dont think you can die in house for temperature effect, it’s shelter you have a normal temperature inside no matter which armour you wear.
I DO get the “very hot”-message when I run around in my fully enclosed desert home in heavy Khitan armor (which protects from cold)…
Thats not how the game works. Some buildings increase the temperature some buildings cool it down. Also being close to certain placeables ie fires, forges etc. will also increase your temperature. Couple to that that your perks from attributes dont count when your logged off it means that very hot in khitan with vitality 30+ might be a heatstroke when your offline.
All that said, i usually log of naked in my stonebrick house in the desert. When i logged on a little later i got a message in screen saying that i died of starvation. But since i logged off on my bed i dont know what exactly happened.
I logged out my character in a normal terperature room, where I have before loggede out 5-7 days without dying with no problem…

My character was at normal temperature, I have logged out at that base multible times, and just about a week without dying
Gamemasters please fix our server, because its apparently not the first players lost there equipment without duying!
hi theaky, the image uploading or linking can unlock after a day or 2, and you might be able to paste them in. (hold on to any screens if you have them)
just as a joke… maybe when you logged out, your character wasnt wearing any clothes (like Blyker mentioned), and your character looked a bit Cheaky (not Theaky) so he attacked it instead?

Same on 1502…all safe logged off, pve not c. Strange stuff since last steam update, or when the thralls became icons again I’ll instead of bags. Things decay when they say 144 hours…something is whack
Have to add this as also a bit strange…Had a pet that was moved to a new location. Hand fed so he would be happy, left him in guard. Clan member found him near the original location, so from Highland all the way to the jungle by himself. So if you move your thralls they may go wondering off on their own. Also had a thrall that was with me hunting go poof, as this has always happened i figured he fell through the world. 2 days later he shows up at the house…Yeah DEV team, something is totally jacked up. People are leaving left and right due to all the bugs and lack of fixes and responses. You jump at an exploit, but do nothing to correct the issues at hand. Please rethink this as this could be a great game
