Logged off last night (9/3/20) in my build area and logged on this afternoon (9/4/20) to find myself naked in my building area with all my items including armor, weapons, and several other items have disappeared from my inventory and hot bar. I haven’t had this issue in awhile (right after game release) but lesson learned again, I guess. Please look into this issue and fix it if you can… Thank you!

You probably died of dehydration, staving or more likely, temperature… it happens.
I used to have a base next to chaosmouth, the room where i logged out had some braziers as light source that made temperatures too high, my character died a couple times before i noticed it was the temperature and i had to change those braziers for something else.
You can check the event log in the options menu, there you can set to show only the character related events, and with it the cause of your deaths.
Yes,most likely temperature.Dont build black ice,wood or khitan buildings in hot area-they are for cold places.Dont log off in cold insulated armor.And dont log off near heat sources.This can be furnace,cooking stations and most fire lights.And hot go up too-so couple floors up not helps
