Horse bridle and animal movement?

Hi,

  • First, I would really like to see a horse bridle that goes with the saddle. I think it’s really odd that there isn’t one.
  • Second, the way animals move could be improved - a lot (edit: wild animals and animals you can’t ride). They look fine but the way tthey move is not good. I really like the game in so many ways and since the animals are a pretty big part of it - they should have the same awesome movement as your own character.

Okay… dealing with the second issue since it affects gameplay… how would you suggest the animal (horse/rhino) movement be improved? If they shouldn’t move the same as one’s own character, then how do you think they should move?

What’s the solution? :thinking:

They move in a rather ‘chunkey’ way as it is now - kind of cartoonish (in lack of better terms). Their movement isn’t smooth. Look at for ex Red Dead, Ark Survival Evolved - the animals there got great movement.

If you’re referring to strafing, i.e. lateral movement, then I disagree. I’ve never seen a horse move like that.

If that’s not what you’re referring to, could you elaborate on what you think is wrong with the movement and in what way(s) it needs to change?

Btw, the horse’s momvement is good when you sit on it. Im talking about animals in general, for ex the ones in the wild. :slight_smile:

I think I understand what you mean, the wild animals seem to stutter about, especially when they’re returning to their “home” after wandering too far.

Thank you! Yes! Horses ears dont bounce like a dogs when running! Ive said it before. It drives me nuts.
