How can u get Improved tanners table?

My wife has the improved tanners table but i cant make it or find out how to get it any ideas?

Complete the Tanner journey.

As far as I know, it is ONLY available as a Journey step reward. All of the journey steps should be looked at closely, because there are some cool and unique rewards like this. The improved tanner bench, the improved dismantling bench, a small kiln/oven (from the chef journey steps), new alchemy recipes (like the knockout gas from the thrall journey step), and so on. Some of them give you items you can’t otherwise get.

Follow-up question: What is does the improved tanner’s table actually improve? It doesn’t seem to reduce crafting cost. Is speed better?

Compared to the regular Tanner’s Table, the Improved Tanner’s Table has double crafting speed, 20 additional inventory slots, and twice the durability. However, it also takes up the space of about three of the basic versions.

Much faster. Not a game changer, but a nice perk when you’re waiting on large batches of hardened leather.

And this is exactly why I haven’t used it yet. Getting tired of these top tier workbenches that are two or three times the size of the others. Funcom NEEDS to make smaller versions so we can actually make smaller builds. So much for creative builds that utilize all these. They’re basically telling us the only affective way to fit all these in is make a giant box base.

I got one and it is big. We have done some reconfiguration trying to fit everything in.

In the long ago, the Fireball Cauldron did it all, for a single tile of space. I would have 4 or 5 of them, to make dyes, potions, etc.

Agreed. I love the new crafter thrall system in some regards, but in others, it’s really annoying. They really need to make stuff for those smaller builds. On PC players can get mods, but on consoles, we’re stuck, and console NEEDS something that can cut down on memory. If it can allow us to build smaller, it might actually help.
