How do i make it so our pets do more dmg?

our tamed pets hit for like 5 DAMAGE the thralls are fin but the pets do literally no dmg

Can’t really help without details. Here are some questions:

  • Are you playing singleplayer, co-op or on a server?
  • If on a server, are you on an official server or private?
  • If you’re on a private server, are the server multipliers different from official server settings?
  • Are you using any mods?
  • Does this happen with all kinds of pets or just one (e.g. wolves)?
  • Are you leveling your pets?
  • What kind of diet are you using for leveling?
  • What are the stats and the growth chances of your pets?

I used to play on one server where I refused to get any melee or archer thralls. All I used was pets. I had a couple bears that would tear the faces off of just about anything. And they aren’t hard to get a greater bear at all which will really just roll over most things. I think pets do fine damage and people are just used to the OP damage melee thralls do instead.

At southern regions, A pack of hyenas is pretty decent aswell. They re also easy to replace. There is higher chance to get Greater hyenas. There is around %20 chance to get a Greater hyena from the baby hyenas you kidnap. Shalebacks are pretty weak.

Crocodiles are strong as guards. There is far west of souther region (right before the jungle area) and the small, circular lake side region at northern shores of the southern riverside ( where a Boss is also located at ) to kidnap baby crocodiles.

Feeding them during their guard duty with favored food (temporarily) boosts their stats. A short E click on your pet with open their inventory and their favorite food list. Long click E will pop up command screen.

Wandering around with your pets is a good way to level them up. You can order only a single pet to ‘Follow’ you though. Anyhow if you somehow die while wandering with your pet, your pet and anything it carries is lost.

its all pets hit low dmg
the stats are irrelevant when they do 5 dmg…no matter what lvl or stats there not gonna do that much more…in a best case scenario the pets will do like 40 dmg…
aoc pets are hitting okish dmg but the vannila ones are hitting like a wet noodle

btw thses dmg numbers are on greaters…like the bear/lynx/wolf etc

Yeah, it’s not the pets that’s the problem. It’s one of your mods that’s the issue.
