Hi there
So I’ve read that installing Savage Wilds map mod renders the convergence trap useless on Siptah because they changed the recipe. So now you can’t move or make the swirling chaos to power the trap either way any more.
Does anyone know how to fix this without using character transfer to Savage Wilds? Admin, Pippi…?
I haven’t heard about this issue (although I do not think anyone on my servers use the convergence trap). I suggest asking Savage Wilds discord this question since they may have an answer for you.
Are you playing Single Player? If yes, I would avoid having Savage Wilds mod in your mod list when playing on Isle of Siptah. Having mods installed in your computer, have no effect on the game as long they are not on the mod list when you log into saved game or server.
I hope this helps. Otherwise, most likely the WildCypher Team will have to answer your question.

If you have a server cluster like I do, you would be force to when using Amunet Server Transfer mod so you can quickly transfer from one server to the other. (10-20 seconds). Currently the mod only works when the mod list is the same on all the connected servers. AST modder (Amunet) is working on getting mod mismatch servers to connect without fatal crashes. Although at the moment, waiting on the next Funcom patch 2.6 to see if it resolves the issue.
Otherwise, you do not need SW mod on Siptah is true.

@charlesbalmer if you’re still transferring the way I think you might be, then I think the simplest solution is probably the one @Sir.Henry.Vale suggested - keep the mod installed, but only add it to the active mod list when you’re heading to Savage Wilds. It’d just mean fully exiting the game rather than only going back to main menu and alt-tabbing, but it should reliably prevent any problem on Siptah (if there is one - I don’t actually use the convergence trap, so I’ve no idea about your actual question…)

Thanks for the responses everyone.
To answer the questions, I am playing single player. I have a map mod installed because I enjoy variety sometimes and I am running multiple characters although I prefer the original maps so far. Savage Wilds adds new items to the game as a whole though only a few.
Actually @DanQuixote, I was willing to attempt using the server transfer function as the other method doesn’t support that map mod as far as I can tell.
I did find an easy fix though. You can just add the new convergence trap feat via Pippi character tab.
The issue is there are now two separate Convergence Trap feats with Savage Wilds installed.
I use the convergence trap on Siptah to provoke/ remove purges for those wondering why I use it.
Thanks for all your answers.
