Where did feminists hide when they were so needed?
Why is the chance of a Cimmerian Berserker Female appearing only 25% and is 1/3 of a man (75%)?!!
We demand equality! More female characters on the map!!! ![]()

This has always been the case. Female berserkers are typically a lower rate. Just one reason why trading thralls is in demand.
On the official server, we have a limitation in satellites: thralls or animals - it doesn’t matter. The formula is 50 + N*15, where N = the number of players. If you are alone, then you have only 65 seats. If there are 3 of you in the clan, then you have only 95 seats. If you cancel the Storage in the refrigerator, this is very small, when artisans will also be included in this number.
Damn it, this is a game about a grind and collectible, you don’t have to limit the player even more. And when all your slaves on the blocks fall and break due to the next update, remember my words.
We need sexual revolution. Let feminists work for the good of society at least once in their lives, muahaha.
I would even go further and suggest options.:
In all honesty, boxing up thralls is simpler and creates WAY LESS lag for players. If they were all placed in the world (which is ridiculous by the way, and lll explain in a minute) there would be so much lag, it wouldn’t matter what type of PC/console you were on. I play on PS5 (almost zero lag), girlfriend on PS4 (often bad lag and she’s right next to the modem). If everyone’s thralls/pets were added to the world, it would be game breaking! The ridiculous part is if some people think stashing them in boxes is stupid than I guess everything should come out in terms of “realism”. How can furniture, resources, etc all fit in a box if that were the case? It’s a game, the term realism pretty gets thrown out the window. It’s created as a means to reduce lag and other game breaking issues but concealed as “storage”. Keep it as is. Gender coding would still be nice.
Well, of course you can make all day jokes about it. Those aside, as you should not “look the horse’s teeth” (wink wink).
You can know the gender of the thrall YOU PUT IN THE WHEEL by simply starting placing it and noticing how the model looks like. It is not like you need to dedicate hours of your play time to do that, unless you are running the game on a Celeron LX.
Then knowing which is which, you NAME YOUR STORAGE accordingly. You can also put something to remind you, like putting some wood in the box you are placing your male thralls, etc.
HOWEVER:
As useless as a feature it might seem, IF there was the will to make it, it is not hard. You can make a mod that when you hover the thrall item for over a count of seconds, it shows a more detailed description of what thrall is there, and possibly more info than their gender. It would not “impact performance” more than the existent hover box over storage, crafting stations, or whatever. And they are “client UI only”, so they dont impact “everyone’s” gameplay.
While I do think it is not something that should exist, it is not something that is that “impacting to have”. So many things people suggest in this forum are way more of a “lag bass” feature.
I think some people forget that there are some that play on PC and some of us, that are console gamers. Conan works very well on console, the transition from PC to console is very well done. But, mods isn’t something us in the realm of console Conan Exiles have compared to PC, where you can virtually cheat every aspect of the game if you know how and the ability to do so. So whatever is done to the game sorta has to be friendly to both.
To the point: It is not hard to do something like that, but why ?
And that works both ways. Cant go around adding gimicks for console players to the whole game.
There are many people who play PC and wont be using mods, like server players in Officials, or servers which choose to not use mods.
PC players who are not wanting to deal with mod “drama” also wont be using them. Mods are a little bit of a non “100%” use among PC players.
If you use mods you have to understand they can wreck your game, they might introduce things you dont want, they might make your game unplayable from time to time.
People playing in PC might not want to get a mod to fix their games as well.
And that Is exactly the reason why not all features “someone wants” for their own specific case is something the devs should impose on everyone.
If there is A way to do something, it is not because someone does not want to simply “brush” a thrall and see its appearance that they need to create a “box” to show information people might or might not want.
For the game purposes, what is the “main reason” for example “everyone” would want to know their thralls gender ? Why should that designed by imposed on everyone ?
The thralls show up their profession, the icon with their specialization, if so, and they are slightly of a different tone when they are finished breaking or not. That info is enough for gameplay.
Why do I need the gender of the thrall there to be a “everyone feature” ?
You can just name your storage, or put an identification token item in the storage and sort it out yourself.

Think of it in the other way:
I HATE HUD. I dont like health bars, I dont like numbers rolling, icons flashing. I like game immersion, things that hint your stats, not “Ironman Visor”. I feel very passionate about that. Do I think ANY game should stive to incorporate that design ? Of course not. Designing a feeling UI is not easy, and even if people like that idea, they differ on what and how they want it to be.
I HATE MAPs, Minimaps, Arrows. I like maps like old maps, paper stuff you mark, if even. Do I think any game should be designed like that ? Of course not. Some people do like their markers, their minimaps, their running numbers around, even if they dont use half of the info most of the time. Some people even CANT function in the game without maps.
It just takes patience to find the thralls you want. I’ve had zero problems getting female berserkers.
I’d also want a visual hint on what kind of religion a priest is of.
Accursed Priests for example, how do people know their religion? They are supposed to be Cimmerians, Crom believers, right? Do I need to build 7 different alters and see which one this heretic belongs to?
When you find any thrall around, sometimes it just take going away and coming back for it to show up of another gender.
In the single, yes, reroll. Not on the official server.
Which brings us back to the same thing: Why should everyone be shoved a system that only serves a portion of players ?
Not even all server players require a thrall to be of a specific gender.
25% female and 75% male. One-to-three.
Why not 50/50?!
Where are the equal opportunities? And where the hell are the boobs?
Maybe berserking has such strict physical requirements that only a few women pass the tests. You know, like army special forces or firefighters.
Wait. There are male thralls? How long has that been a thing? Who asked for that?
Other than the fact that this system will contribute to your thrall limit, and they seem intent of making new benches, requiring more workers. Right now, there are 22 unique benches with thralls. For a single player, that’s a huge percentage of their limit, if they use all those thralls. And, no one should start up the share a thrall between station nonsense, since that would not allow efficient use of material at the same time on different stations.
If you put a Thrall on a bench or chair, then do not take it into your combat party! He or they will fall asleep during the fight. You need to put Thrall on his feet on the floor and wait for the server to restart. Only after that, take him to the combat party.
Yes, Funcom broke everything again.
I have been using the principle of separating the sexes in chests for a long time. In the left cells are men, in the right cells are women. I usually keep the column of cells in the middle empty for separation.
