How to Eliminate Blocky Character Shading in Cutscenes

Oh, that is weird. o_o I might have seen it once, 'cause I remember messing around with camera angles to make a thing happen and not back and forth…but I don’t remember more than that. Huh. Thanks for hunting those down–I don’t have very many default-taken screenshots (most of what I have is renamed), but I know what you mean with having a glut of things to dig through for this game. (I really need to sort all the videos I have…)

As for keeping images as links, hm. If it’s over 3mb the forum will auto-edit it into a link after a few seconds, period. If you’re linking an image from the internet, it looks like using the “create link” button and giving it preview text will force it to be a link. Putting an exclamation mark before it in this particular format will turn it into an image again.

If you don’t want to muck with linking a link, you can also put almost any punctuation or some symbols in front of the plain pasted link, with no space between them. Characters and certain symbols ($, +, -, _, and ^ at least), will convert it to plaintext instead. You’ll see the change live on the post preview, so you can pick what you want and see if it works.

If you’re uploading it to the forum…it looks like if you remove just the exclamation mark it puts before the text, it’ll turn the image-name-and-size autofill text into a link.

And, for science, let’s see if you can change the text in the square brackets without breaking anything when you’re uploading…

Nope, removing the exclamation mark breaks it. Hm. I can’t think of anything else to mess with to turn an image upload into a link…so if you want to prevent stretching of a post with an uploaded image, couch them in a dropdown spoiler. I forget whether that prevents viewing the full size image like blur spoilers do, so…more science! Sweet! That works.
