In the player list it shows everyone with a Mic symbol except myself. How do I enable Voice chat? I tried talking with my mic plugged in but it didn’t work.

They never fixed that. Never talked about it. I made a post about it on the forum, no answer. I made a post on twitter where they usually respond, no answer.
I’m not playing the game until it is resolved. Playing a community based game without a concrete way of chatting is experience breaker.
You don’t see your own icon, but it doesn’t mean that you’re unheard, it’s actually worked all the time. Icon in player list is about muting, and it would be strange if you could mute yourself. But if players in a party, they’ll only see your name on their screen but will not hear your voice, which should be expected
Been playing everyday since day one and havnt heard one single person speak. I have seen the icon come up a few times as if someone is speaking. So it’s either bugged or everyone is in party chat?
Almost everyone will use party or even another service cause in-game voice is locked to specific distance, not that big actually. Also giving ability for everyone to hear what you are talking about during almost any activity is creating disadvantage for yourself.
Had it with a clanmate, I just loggged on and didnt realise anyone was on, He was in the same room (Lieing on the floor) as me and shouted down his mic at me. Took me proper by surprise as was concentrating on a bit of adminy housekeeping my crafting stations. Joined his party after that lol.
