Hello Guys!
We opened a recent server, but we are having difficulties configuring Purge.
We play on some servers where the purge bar does not reset while the player is offline. Most of our players are casual, they don’t have the possibility to stay for a long period of time playing. The fact that the purge bar resets in a matter of hours makes these players who play little, have little or no purge.
So I would like to know if you can help me. Is there any way to configure the purge bar so it doesn’t regress while the player is offline?
If yes, can this command be performed through the settings or the console (insert key)?
If you are a really casual player, then logging into the server to see your base being destroyed is a kick in the nuts. @stelagel . The nature of the player needs to be taken into account. If someone has lots of work and responsibility then 10 hours a week might be all you can put into the game, and any raid would be devastating if you spent a several weeks to get where you are.
I don’t know how to change the purge though. I only play on official servers
Hey Rurik I don’t think you can stop the purge meter from disappearing after a certain amount of time not logging in (I forget how long it takes but I think it’s 1 or 2 weeks of not logging in before your purge meter suddenly disappears - it’s not a gradual process). But an alternative that may work is to keep the purge trigger value really low (it’s meant to be 42000 by default but for instance, G-Portal servers when they first fire up, have the value set at 2300 which means you could trigger a purge in an hour from a zero start start if you try to. Down side is, all players on the server would be triggering purges very quickly - maybe too quickly for some. Other option, if those players just made sure they logged in for even one second every few days they would not lose their purge meter at all and that log in would give them 200 purge points too.
In fact, we have a custom server for our players, who, like most, don’t really have much time to dedicate to the game, however, with the changes in the configuration, the evolution in the game becomes much faster than the servers. officers. Since in our opinion the fun of the game (“PVE”) is exactly the “Purges”, the actions are reduced, so that the purge bar goes up faster and the player can feel the experience as soon as possible from this game mechanic.
We don’t want the bar to reset while the player is offline, on the contrary, we want the purge bar to remain stable, without regressing during player or clan inactivity.
So, there is a possibility that you can prevent the purge bar from being reset or having its points dropped, but we don’t know how to do that. If you want, I can even tell you some servers where the bar remains stable.
Suppose the Purge activation number is 7,000 actions, if a player gets close to the white line of the bar in one day and can’t play anymore, the next day his bar will have regressed about 50% of all progress made on the day previous. See the example below:

We want to prevent the purge bar from losing activation points overnight, because in less than 24 hours, it ends up resetting itself completely, which ruins the experience of the player who wants to have hecatomb, but has few hours a day to play .
We are looking for a solution so that the hecatomb bar never runs out while the player is offline, or at least takes longer than 24 hours to start doing so.
