I do have really really busy weeks rn and can’t really let myself get back in game for now (didn’t expected 3.0 will launch so early). I can only test some stuff from time to time, so far i had good feelings about how PvP turned to be, that it will actually be fun!
Let’s talk about PvP in 3.0 - how it turned to be, is it fun and balanced now? C’mon experienced PvPrs like @TheReaperOfChess and other folks speak up!
Is there PvP/game breaking issues / bugs? Is there something that needs to be tuned down?
I think it would be good idea to post all issues / things that need adjustments in one list.
This one looks forward to getting back into the swing of things…
But currently, on the Sony consoles at least, many build pieces, armour sets, and monsters are either entirely or partially invisible.
They are still there, they just cannot be seen, and in fact can be seen through.
Turanian, Arena, Stable pieces all have this issue.
Invisible bases are quite a challenge to address.
But they also reveal all of the non-transparent contents, such as base game and Nemedian building pieces, thralls not in cloaking gear, altars, ect…
So this one has opted to sit out of the love pits until those issues are addressed.
But is also eagerly reading reports back from more stable fronts.
I find that they made characters way to nimble. You can literally do circles around people now and you add the hp boast/food healing buff. You have a very long drawn out fight. I’m happy horses aren’t as deadly but to be perfectly honest they are completely useless now. Spend a few hours leveling 1 with 1500 hp, you get knocked with one hit and the horse is dead. Why are nerfs so harsh?
It’s hard to go to in depth on everything else as it’s very buggy but the lighting spell is a bit to strong and rip to defending bases.
The problem is not the movement in itself. The problem is that 15 agi perk is 10% faster than without the perk. And 10% is pretty damn much. And should probably be adjusted to like 5% or something.
Buffs are fine tho. Like that it’s less grindy to get buffs. And also, it’s playable without buffs.
Hmmm, seems like u pvp players will never be happy! Unfortunately there were so many decisions made for you people, which made pve suffer so much. maybe pure pvp should be removed from conan. pve conflict is fine, but you guys seem never get enough!
What do horses scale off now? Was looking at poitain cavalier and it is follower damage +x%. This set is meant to be the horse riding armour so as wondering.
Best pvp update I have seen from funcom in years dude. Alot more balanced i have pvp in official and other servers for like 5 years this is the most balanced and fair update the game has had for pvp even raiding
Happy that they nerfed the lance it was the last thing that needed to be nerfed, only thing is the horses are useless now and actually die way too fast they should have balanced it not just make it unusable. Like 1 hit and your off the horses, maybe 3 max and make their health decent so they don’t die so quick, it is a lot harder to kill people now also but still fun to play reminds of of the times where horses weren’t around
There is still a few balance issues. There is no reason for someone with bow to actually be able to dmg you 50% of your hp. Also, last stand is OP like I predicted. Last stand 95% dmg reduction for 5 sec, combined with mad berserker, in a raid for example. You wont be able to catch them before they are inside.
Last stand should be like 50% dmg reduction, that would be fine and still useful. Now you cant even damage people.
