Hp nerf for thralls

so i tried out using thralls with the new hp nerf. I think Funcom went too far. Even fights that were a small struggle are now completely un-doable.

I’m sorry to say, cause I’m the last person to get involved in post like this one, but you are exaggerating 200% the reality of the nerf. I just got in finally and the first thing I did was test the changes and the only difference I saw was that my thrall took a little extra hit points damage, that’s it.

Stop trying to spread misinformation and exaggerate claims, please…

It all depends which thralls you use…

He probably doesnt use the end game thralls. You do.

And now try to figure out, how his experience ist different than yours…

Well a T1 lvl 20 cimmerian thrall could solo kinscourge without any armor before this patch, if that is not happening, its an improvement.

I actually accounted for this and use a begginers thrall lvl 0, a middle lvl 0 and a top lvl 0. Ritualist, beast master and Liam accordingly. I could have gone with the top tier on all three ranges but I figure any will do for the test.
Now, I have level all 3 of this in the past multiple times to 20, so I know what they can do and how to do it. There is little to no difference now from before the patch except that they take a little more damage because they take a little longer to kill things, that’s it.

Of course gear, food, weapons do play a huge factor here and if you are not providing your thralls with the best you have so they can perform at their best, then I don’t know what to say. But if you are charging into battle with a thrall’s default gear and weapons with no food on their inventories, then I can’t help you.

Like I said before, I would be the last person playing this game that will come here to disclaim anything on a post like this, I’m just so tired with all this misinformation propaganda that keeps popping up.

And just in case, I’m not defending Funcom either, but I’m not going to exaggerate or lie about something just to discredit someone else.

Umm you have weak thrall then, I just did the arena champion with mine and she did fine. I used a few healing arrows but I think she could have soloed her

I’ve been doing pretty decently with low-tier thralls (such as named Exile fighters) with good equipment post-nerf. Yeah, my Exile Fighter T1 can’t fight endgame bosses because she has only 1556 hitpoints - but she’s not supposed to. She’s an early-game follower.

My Thugra (Darfari Cannibals T4, so still low level) is now level 12 and I’m quite comfortable with taking him to murder the Mounds of the Dead or world bosses. Same with Enica of Cimmeria (Exiles T4) at level 20. They’re doing fine. We just need to accept that early-game thralls are not meant for late-game content, just like stone spears or iron swords aren’t supposed to be a weapon of choice against the Wine Cellar boss.

is hyperbole, which is not useful feedback. If you want to address a problem, you need to provide accurate information that will help game developers fix the issue.

If your thralls are lacking hitpoints at early levels, focus on raising their Vitality while leveling them up. Feed them Roast Beef for that +14 % chance to raise Vitality.

Late-game thralls (Cimmerian, Relic Hunter, etc.) still start out with a decent amount of hitpoints and can gain more with leveling.
