Hunting sorcerers for bounty is fun, but

Wouldn´t be nice if they were actually sorcerers?
They are no challenge, and they could aswell be any other npc. They have their summoning portals and altars and they don´t do anything with them… I thought this would be like those events around the map with new enemies to fight that alters the veil of reallity and meant some kind of challenge for the player, but is somewhat disapointing to be honest.

Now if they were actually bosses, with undead minions or summoned demons to fight for them and some spells in their repertoire of actions that would be something else.

But to give credit i will say this kind of events are entretaining and give something to do to the players, i just think this enemies in particular were meant to be sorcerers, not dagger weilders fighters.

I believe that this was the meaning of going and find the “encounter” if i am not mistaken? Still haven’t done it! Because practically when @jmk1999 informed me what was the outcome of this fight, i had no regrets that I didn’t done it and no regrets i haven’t done it yet :man_shrugging:. I know it’s a game of choices, you can skip 70% of the content if you wish and still proceed successfully in every challenge, but i would love something “more” too, i totally agree @Cyryus, really well said. How about the lore? Where are these skulls and sorcery going… dead or alive? Maybe a full clan can complete the head altar, but, as a solo, i haven’t reached the top. It clears on server restart.

I thought these merchants are for people who almost lost everything due to starting over on a merged server.

Black blood tools, the Glimmer moon, Dalinsia were things that really hurt you if you were loosing them, from pve to pvp! This just ease the pain of loss, you don’t care anymore, because they are easy gains! I remember breaking black blood picks and swearing my self at least for a quarter of hour that i allowed this to happen, now? I don’t give a f… k anymore :man_shrugging:. A Dalinsia died? Ok I’ll get another one :rofl::rofl::rofl:. This, has made the game more pleasant, no doubt about it.
But what op wants is correct, somehow we need extra motivation to defeat the encounter, don’t you think?

Is that not what the Witch Hunt events were supposed to be? I have not seen or done one yet.
