I found a bug that prevents me from playing

I disabled the auto update function in steam yet the game wont let start the game without installing the last update i don’t want to install

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. open steam
  2. see that Conan exiles requires an update even though i disabled the updates
    the end

There is an Single Player offline Mod or an Guide, maybe it works with it.

thanks a lot for that , but i should have known sooner. I obviously can’t launch the game as it keeps insisting I install the update and funcom refuses to drop the forced update which is exactly the issue i want them to adress

I still don’t understand what you’re saying. If you don’t want to install the update then do like @Tenhi said and play offline. If you do want to install the update then reenable Steam’s auto update feature and let the game update itself so you can play.
