I would like to have a update or dlc where you can have mounts. Also where your npc people can level you can place down a military training base etc. Or they can level on their own. Third I would love to hatch dragon eggs etc for pets/ mounts. I would like to have these ideas offline and online. Almost for got fishing poles would be nice. and you can assign npc jobs. like for one you can assign them to be a fishermen after you place down a fishermens dock. I have lots of other cool ideas
I know mounts were planned back in Early Access, but then it turned out they’d need to basically rework how the map is put together behind the scenes for them to work for everyone. I’ve heard so many differing reports on the subject at this point that I have no idea what the official plan is now, whether they’re still planned hopefully at some point, or pretty much abandoned, or what.
A fishing pole could be fun, being able to just sit back and fish sounds pretty relaxing.
I think the safest thing to do is consider mounts basically cancelled. They’re not necessary anyway according to me. The kind of development effort that’d go into making them work would be better spent elsewhere.
Ya, Mounts basically wont happen as is.
Moving to fast across map as is on foot, can cause stuff to not be loaded. Being on camel or horse even faster? You pretty much can’t do it.
fishing pole is one of those things i’d want, but everyone turns it into a click button mini-game and ruins it.
If it was like Zelda 64 fishing, I’d be fairly happy. XD
To the people who don’t like these ideas. it can be a choice to get it or not. you don’t have to buy every DLC. Think about the people who do want them. They can get the DLCs while you guys can get other DLCs you guys want. and yeah fishing poles don’t have to be a mini game. I can live with that.
