Btw, pelicans shouldn’t be confused with shoebills. Shoebills don’t occur in enough frequency to reach the level of annoyance that pelicans do. On Siptah, shoebills occur in few locations, have a bit better egg drop rate, they’re a little more challenging, and spawn in close enough detection range from each other and bigger creatures that you can have an actual battle on your hands. But pelicans flock everywhere, and exist to make overland travel tedious.
I see I’m not the only one who will slaughter the whole pack and their babies, because I can’t lay that grudge to rest.
They are annoying but still the rocknose is the top scorer of annoyance
They are loud… they throw you off… and there too much of them
My base is far away from Rocknoses… but still they annoy me the most of all
The cobra’s are also annoying, they are hard to hit and always poison me before I can kill them, but atleast they’r not loud like these **** rocknoses
Oh yes, rocknoses are always the biggest cockroaches in both maps.
Need to start manufacturing a spray that makes stone crumble for them
I have to stop and lay waste to them all when this many pop up in one small area, and then you walk 25 ft forward and the same amount pop out again🤦♂️

Hyenas used to be, then It went to rocknoses then to pelicans and then right back to rocknoses again for my ultra hate Mach 3.0
They seem to make common enemy’s waaaaaaaay to common, and waaaaaay too annoying, like always annoying lol
Rocknoses made the top of the list again just because of the sheer spam placement they have in siptah, so tempted to start blocking major rocknose spawns

You’re just minding your own business enjoying the stunning views and then it all get down hill from there when you hear multiple ROAAAARS of those dang Rocknoses…
Also I really don’t like their new appearance, yeah I said it.
I like rocknoses. I don’t think I really hate any enemy types, but I also don’t have things spawning right outside my base making noises all the time. I just have deer and their occasional hoof clicks. Every now and then one even makes it inside my fortress which is weird.
My other base is on plateau where absolutely nothing spawns except a few iron nodes. No rocks, trees, plants or life forms. Getting stuff up there before I had the elevator installed was a real pain though
