Nobody said you can’t 
You are perfectly free to train any thrall you wish and play with them however you wish.
But… then go and do that please… constantly whining about how thralls are weak then claiming at the same time how you don’t need thralls at all is… weird to say the least…
Considering you don’t need any of them you seem to be putting quite a lot of effort into posts asking for them…
For example I can go and pick up an Exile 1… take it through kuraks lair and other dungeons from the getgo without them dying… I give them proper gear and proper food as they come off the wheel before I do anything with them and they’ll be completely fine since I don’t “ignore” them and go off doing my own stuff as if they weren’t even there… but I also don’t have to put considerable effort into defending them… it’s not like I don’t have to kill the stuff attacking them even if they weren’t there anyway…
It seems to me like there’s 5 of you who keep crying about thralls and wanting to turn this into a pokemon game again… and you’re trying to be extremely loud about it
Again… if you want them to fix the game… fair enough… ASK FOR THAT…
if you want them to get rid of the infinite stagger of NPCs… heck… I’ll even support that cuz I also preferred it the way it used to be…
But… for the last time… we don’t need fighter thralls with 10k HP running around that can swat anything in their way like it was a fly the way it used to be pre-AoS… that was absolutely dumb even from a completely unbiased and objective point of view… like… what kind of a survival game is it when you hide behind an immortal and all powerful “pet human”… they already took enough survival elements away from the game over the years…
So forgive me for not being overjoyed with people asking for dumb stuff, because while the devs also know it’s stupid and that’s why they reverted it… there is a tiny chance that yet again they’ll listen to the loud minority and screw up the game once again… from even more angles than it already is…
If you can’t understand that even in this blunt form, then idk how many other ways I can explain it to you…
So by all means… provide feedback… ask for changes… but when you ask for stupid stuff and people try explaining to you how that’s not going to be in any way good for the game, don’t go all activist on the forums jumping on everyone who disagrees and endlessly repeat the same nonsensical argument that you had before AoS came out.
Come up with something reasonable and you’ll get way more support for it… for example if you were asking for them to merely close the gap between the weakest and the strongest thralls so you have more options that are decent, that’s totally fine as long as they don’t push the upper end further up… but I personally will always be against "Trying to fix lag issues with HP and damage on thralls… " there is nothing that you can say that will make me think it’s not the stupidest thing ever
