I’m lazy. I just change my inventory option at the top from ‘custom’ to sort-by-name to keep things condensed.

hah! I do that too occasionally. Especially when overburdened after looting a base or player and I suddenly need to hop on a horse!

Yea, I’ve been doing that too when unloading stuff after coming back from farming
But afterwards I switch back to custom since I don’t have my waterskin etc on my hotbar plus sandstorm mask and stuff… so I just use it from the inventory and it helps being in the top row
And when I switch back from a compact view to custom… I end up with a mile long inventory list…
Anyway, it adds a radial menu on benches / containers and can do the same for them

Nice. They need to implement this.
The sorting with custom is garbage.
./Weight and ./Name are half fixes that still require you to drag/drop items and manually organize to clear dead space to keep your Customized inventory.

Nice. But not for me. I always make my inventory larger, to hide things I always have to have with me, but don’t have to use aktively (e.g. keys).
Honestly. “Heaviest first” is the way to go then, as it puts them at the very bottom of the list

I was just thinking the same lol… finally after 5 years I somehow sorted these two mods out and next update Funcom’s gonna add them to the game or something would be hilarious! Though that would be a good thing, better late than never!
Edit: Also, ty! the compactor can do that with containers and benches too with a radial menu option
