I went grab star metal before 3.0 star metal pick axe I got 300 but with 3.0 it’s 1400 huge difference.
Same thing brimstone 4 k now it’s 10k.
Seems little to high.

I disagree. If you are willing the invest the points into farming instead of combat, then you should be a really good farmer. Seems like a reasonable reward for investment to me.
It’s better for real it takes too long to farm every thing. This way if you get wiped it doesn’t feel like a chore to get back into the end game.
That’s exactly what Dennis said during one of his live streams and that’s why it’s been increased.
It’s a good thing although 4x is a little high I think 3x would be a perfect medium. An increase to exp gained would be huge as well for leveling new characters
You probably didn’t have the 30 points in survival prior to the update which gave you the double harvesting perk…
Now it’s in the same attribute so you get it on the way automatically… which is why it might be surprising to you…
But if you had a 50 encumbrance / 30 survival build before 3.0 you were harvesting the same amount of everything…
“The game isn’t grindy enough anymore, can we go back?”
How about let people enjoy and find new strategies to adapt to changes instead of crying for a nerf, just for once?
I did run 50 and 30. The only thing was give mats faster but didn’t increase plus’s it help with durability. Difference is if you grab efficient harvest that’s 2 times harvest rate on top of 4 times.
The main concern I can easily increase my bomb cability 8 times faster.
Plus’s before 3.0 economy build was complete sacrifice .
Now you don’t really sacrifice anymore which is good. Died so many times econ build vs some one in combat. Or I be combat build have to get resource become encumbered and some one shows up. Not good
I don’t get what you’re on about…
The harvest rate with 20 Expertise is exactly the same as it used to be with 50 enc / 30 surv.
And yes resource nodes have a limited amount of resources so you deplete them faster… with 20 expertise iron takes 3 hits instead of 5 for example, but you get double the stuff.
I was running a 50/30 build immediately prior to the update… then as 3.0 launched I went for 20 expertise and I did not notice any change in farming rate.
Unless the patch yesterday changed something because it broke mods so I was unable to play on my server and my local save doesn’t have an expertise build it’s just fighter for farming battle pass.
Are you playing on an official server? if not maybe your server owner increased your harvest rate or something.
Its only too much if you can reach inventory cap with a single tool without repairing. If you can do that, then reduce the server setting for harvest rate.
At 1.0x harvest, an expertise build with the best tools and best fittings cannot do this without using several kits. Its fine.
