Server 1050:
Close the passage in the destroyed basin just to annoy other players
On my server, that’s a banable offense. It violates the “Don’t be a dick” rule.
Report them:
Official Servers - Terms of conduct, guidelines and procedures - Conan Exiles - Funcom Forums
Blocking of content in the game, such as dungeons, obelisks, lore stones, recipes, resources, unique NPCs, and other areas of the game.
But I left a door open so it’s not blocked, right?
With the shear number of bridges on the new server I’m on it’s quite obvious no one reads the ToS.
No ports are open, neither inbound nor outbound. There are no access bridges, unless one must circumnavigate the entire mountain range from The Shattered Basin to Chaosmouth and scale it. In any case, it is a damned critical passage from south to north and vice versa; how the hell can one even consider closing it
I don’t understand why there are certain conduct rules that nobody follows!!!
What is the point of this post, is it just for a laugh?
Furthermore, on this server there is a “nice guy” who owns MEGA BASES everywhere and leaves scattered foundation fragments across the map to prevent other players from building.
This strikes me as highly unfair and demonic:
Do you want the whole server for yourself? THEN RENT IT!
I’ve reported this multiple times to Funcom support with attached images of every map location, but they couldn’t give less of a damn!
@Dana could you bring this matter to the attention of the inspection department?
Best Regards
Tolomeo
As I’ve said, and Teleth’s{?} island is a great example. The island is a POI with 2 POIs and a lore stone on it. As well as a guaranteed bear cub spawn. But people still build there about as fast as the last person gets banned for doing it.
I know, who doesn’t want to build a castle on an island in a lake. But if you had read the ToS and got there and saw 3 markers on your map, why in the name of Set would you build there?
I imagine some people have an unconscious need to do something like that, like people who stand still chatting at the top of an escalator.
I dont think its personal , The reason for it , is peopke extendi their build id, so they refresh evertything in one go, often people wgo does it leaves behind flundations or pillars , ypu might want to talk tp the nice guy so he removes.it.
Easy fix … mark the location as no build zone. If funcom allows it is fair game. Or it should
Now I got a headache.
That is what I’m asking for, if you can get banned for building there, just make it a no build.
lol…this is why Dune Awakening has so many ‘red boxes’ (no build zones).
Spoilers: People still went about making Great Walls of {Donkey’s Butt}-ery.
Yes, I noticed that in Dune. The “RED ZONES” were a very smart move; at least they provide a safe area for movement, transit, and landing between maps.
However, I must admit that on my server, there is obscene building code abuse. But let’s stop talking about Dune; here in the CE cluster, the situation is unsustainable.
There are reckless individuals constructing in absurd locations.
I migrated from Epig Games to Steam after 1,500 hours of gameplay.
I had to pay the €150 bundle and start over.
On my old official server, there was a fool who blocked the boar spawn for Freya’s quest.
Now, here, I’ve encountered another blocking my path.
I must be unlucky with Freya… even though she is a beautiful woman I will never have…

If you weren’t aware there are at least two of the giant boar spawns. One on the cliff overlooking shattered basin/savanna and one back by the pocket.
They can also randomly spawn in any boar spot but it seems rare.
So that makes it ok to block one ![]()
Yeah, I know about the two main spawn points (overrun by player-built structures) and that they can occasionally spawn eggs.
My experience was frustrating I spent two days killing boars everywhere, waiting for a proper respawn.
I finished Freya’s quest after a week by pure chance
Maybe a GM dropped a boar on my head… ![]()
