If I delete Conan (I play online) do I need to first save any files to retain my character?

As the subject states, I’m curious if I delete Conan whether or not I will first need to backup any files to prevent losing all my character info or is it all tied to the server and I will still have my character when I reinstall Conan and join the same server?

Please note that I place PC and online.

For online play you should be good. If it’s the dedicated server, single player, or co-op I think you need to back up or your progress and character goes bye-bye.
